Can't believe I did it!!!
Well i finally have BOOBIES!!! yeah! My arrival time was 11:45 a.m., they called at 11:15 and asked if we could be there any early, but we were already on our way andabout 20 minutes away. So I knew when I got there I wouldn't have to wait. So that was good. The process was very fast, checked, signed some papers and away I went. I had to go to the bathroom, but I held it b/c I thought they would do a preg test. I was sooo nervous, the nurses got me all hooked up to IV's. Had to have a antibiotic b/c of my mitral valve prolapse, and the next thing I knew theywere rolling me into the surgery room. I said, aren't you going to have me pee in a cup, and the nurse said "no, why do you have to go?" and I was like "yes". So off the stretcher, the poor gal had to hold my iv bag, it was a good laugh. But after that went into the surgery room and the nurse hooked up a bunch of heartmonitors and put the b/p cup to my ankle. The anesthia guy came in and put in the sleepy drug, I remember thinking I'm not going to sleep very fast and the next thing I know I was in the recovery roon waking up and they brought my hubby in. They said I bled alot so the surgery took a little long than normal. No pain really, just incredibly tight and that tightness has loosened up a little since yesterday. I can get up and brush my hair and teeth, go to the bathroom jsut fine. I fixed myself some pizza rolls to eat for lunch today, yesterday I had a little soup and some applesauce. No nausea, they gave me a patch behind my ear and some anti nausea stuff in my IV yesterday. I have been keeping frozen corn on my chest, they are really tight, I haven't taken my bra off to take a good look. I'm a little scared. But I am soooo happy I actually did it! Thanks for all of your support, I love you ladies!!!! (((HUGS)))
