Can I bounce bullets of these things???
Sucess!
Yesterday I arrived at the doctor's office at 6:40a,, I was not at all nervous or anxious, had a great nights sleep and was ready to go. Me and BF were laughing and having a good time the whole ride there. I had fainally decided on 500-550 (with the hopes that PS would be able to give me 550). I had backed down from 600 as the thought of being a E or F is not where I want to be! And with what I had before (pics in group) and based on the fact that I was a large B to start with I didn't want to go beyond. We were taken in the consult room and I was given a robe to put on and brought back to a photo room where they took some pictures of my soon to be scrumtous girls. It was weird knowing that in just a few hours I would be without them. ![]() I then went back into the consult room with BF and we sat around and played with the sizers for a while, we were laughing and just having the greatest time. The robe I was wearing hooked up to this vaccumm like thing that blew hot air, there was a place for me to put my hands and I was told to keep my hands in there as it would make it easier to get the IV going. It was like being surrounded by a coud of warm fluffiness. I felt so secure and it wa fun seeing everyone running around in the hall and all because of me! Amazing what $6,500 will buy you! After while my nurse, Jackie, came and in and went over some consent forms with me and after care instructions. The doc came in around 7am and marked me up. I told him what I wanted for a CC fill and he wrote 550 on each breast stating that since most women wish they had gone larger he was going to go with higher end of my fill request. He was in and out in a matter of minutes. VERY shortly after that the sleep doctor came in and asked me a few questions. He was very funny and I told him that I was going to stay awake as long as I possibly could. He laughed and said, "Oh, so you're going to challenge me?" After that, a quick stop into the bathroom and I was walked into the OR, a big room with all sorts of intimidating looking things in it. I laid on the table and was given my IV (which is the ONLY thing I was nervous about and did not hurt at all!) and started chatting with the sleep doctor about my latest trip to Jamaica, Mexico and Florida. I asked him if he could mix something into my sleep cocktail that would make me beleive that I was in the Florida Keys at a Jimmy Buffet concert with a great big margarita in my hand. Next thing I know I am sitting in a wheelchair in recovery with Jackie next to me writing down my stats. It was so quick and I don't remember a thing. That's it. It was so simple and there was nothing to it. I was amazed. After I woke up I got the shakes pretty badly from the sleep stuff. They told me that was normal and I did stop shortly thereafter. The nurse wiped off my mouth and all sorts of white stuff came off and I asked what it was and she said it was from the tube they inserted (?) I am not sure what that is all about and didn't ask but will next time I go in. I got my first look at the girls before I left at about 9:30, they are not that big, just really high and hard. They were not too swollen at the time. They just looked a little bigger. As it turns out I got 525 (that is all that would comfortably fit apparently) moderates. The card says that they are 450 o/f to 525. The drive home was ok, I was a little groggy and BF set me up in the sun room with ice bags and lots of food to keep me company! I was given Celebrex and told to take Extra Strength Tylenol for pain and surprisingly that is all it seems I need to control my pain. I slept on and off all day and just took it easy, my arms were useless and I couldn't even open doors or pill bottles as it hurt so much. Yesterday I was CONSTANTLY icing them and keeping them elevated, I slept on two pillows as I was told that can help reduce the swelling. I made the mistake ONCE yesterday of leavning on my arm and OUCH.....it hurt SOOOOOOOOO bad. The sensation is like someone is pushing on your chest and, though it may be metal, there were times yesterday that I had to stop and catch my breath it felt so tight. This moring when I woke up they looked a lot better, I am rocking a TON of side boob and am high and hard but in clothing they are not that bad at all! They just look like I am wearing a really good push up bra! I FEEL a lot better as well. I honestly feel as though I could get up and walk around and do whatever but I won't because I know that my body needs time to heal and this is the most important time for them to settle. I don't want to mess with that process. Honest ladies, thorugh all the worry and stress and pressure and pain, it is totally worth it. I am going to have a lot of fun watching the D & F over the next few weeks and I can say that no matter where I wind up cup size I am going to love them and embrace them as a part of me. They are beautiful and they will be fabulous! I did post a some day 2 pics on my yahoo board if you want to see them. I will take a lot more as I know how much I enjoyed looking at everyone else's pictures!!!! Alex

Yay, I was so excited for you! Doesn't the hot air thing rock? My PS had one also. I forgot what they called it. Like a bear hug or something weird? I don't remember.
Soooo you're rocking the 525's also huh? I am very excited to see because I am contemplating switching to mods. |
