Alrighty...here's my story....

Thursday night was difficult as I could not get to sleep...I was so anxious and my silly dog kept wanting to go outside or play so he didn't help matters much.

I took my first antibiotic, turned off the T.V. and forced myself to go to sleep....however, woke up several times throughout the night. At 6.a.m. the alarm went off as my BF had to go to work for a couple of hours on Friday. My surgery was scheduled for 11:00 a.m. so he planned to be back home by 10:00 a.m. I got up at this time and began to prepare myself for the day. I set up my bed with a bunch of pillows and downstairs I set up a recliner (that my Mom & Dad let me borrow...how sweet of them!!) with sheets, a heating pad, and pillows. I set out all my meds, made sure I had plenty of frozen food to ice down with, and headed to the shower. I was so itchy and dry afterwards from the antibacterial soap! The phone rings at 9:00 and it's my PS office. Kristen, the receptionist wanted me to come in at 10:00 a.m. since the prior surgery went smoothly and took less time than expected. This is when reality set in....I got some serious butterflies in my stomach and called my boyfriend to see if he could go ahead and come home. He did and as soon as he got there, we were on our way. I told him I wanted to drive as I knew this would be my last chance for a few days.

We get to the surgery center and Kristen asks us to wait a few minutes in the lobby. She calls us back and asks me to put on the gown and place all my belongings in a bag. I had to take the preggo test then my PS came in we finally got to discuss pictures, size, etc. I also had some questions for him rearding when I could get back to normal activities becasue my consult was a blur from a month before! My PS is soooo great and I would highly reccommend him to anyone!! His bedside manner is impeccable and he is very kind and respectful to his patients!

At this time, it was time to move into the operating room and my BF left at this time. We kissed and giggled and I was on my way. The anst. gave me a cool hat to put on...LOL...and she asked me to hop up on the table. She numbed my hand and it was a good thing because she had a hard time working with my itty bitty veins. Another nurse came in and prepped my legs...she put these cool gel pack things on my calves then placed my legs in these massager things (sure they have a different name) to prevent blood clotting during surgery. The anst. ask me about my kids, asked what I wa doing this summer...then I was OUT!

I woke up in the recovery area and felt like crap....I've experienced worse pain, but this was by no means a breeze. My nurse was excellent about offering me pain meds (morphine) and then I felt fine. We chatted for a while...turns out she went to the same college as I did. I asked her how many ccs they went with as I want a full D or so. She said they went with 465 in one and 4 something in the other...I can't remember, I wa a little woozy at the time! LOL!
I was kind of suprised they went with that much because I started with a C cup. However, I have lost alot of volume over the years, so I'm sure they will look great. I by no means look huge at this point and think they will look fabulous once I drop and fluff, so hopefully there won't be any boobie greed for me!! So now that the surgery is over, I wait to D & F....

Overall, my experience has been so much easier than I expected. It's still so surreal that it's actually happened. I'm staying on top my my meds, so recovery has been manageble thus far. I will be sure to post my pics as soon as I can...as I am documenting my progress for others to learn. Thank you so much to all of you for your support...I couldn't have has such a great experience without you all!!!

That's a great story! I know how it feels to once have a C cup and then have them deflate! Congratulations on the new girls, you made it to Boobieville!

Wow we are like about the same size,
Im 5' 120lbs.
Small C, er Im loose ina 36c,
Im anxious to know how you like yers and what size
you end up at. I may have my BA next month, I had my BL about 4 weeks ago...thats only if I can drop these last 15 lbs!!
