6 hours later my BA story
OK I may be posting a little too soon, BUT I honestly do not feel like i just under went surgery let alone a BA. I had my first one 15 years ago when I was 20 and it was so hard on me that first 2-3 days. I mean I couldn't even pull my pants up or down & yes my mom even had to do the paperwork for me (sorry TMI) so that was making me dread this. Even though I knew I wouldn't be is as much pain as the first time.
BUT this go around has been totally different. Ok I had to be at PS office at 9:45am, so I got up showered w/antibacterial soap. Put on my VS Pink outfit, braided my hair in pigtails, and off me & my mom went. (My DH couldn't get off work because he was out 2 days last week for spraining his ankle and they were short handed with a few people on vacation this week). That bummed me BUT having my mom there was great. So we had to wait about an hour and at 11:00 they took me back to do the preggo test, take more pictures & the PS came in to mark me up. He also asked me what I did to stay in shape. I told him that I recently lost 15lbs & I am finally back to to my pre-pregnancy weight size of 110lbs. He asked what I was doing to keep in shape, & told me I looked GREAT being that I am 35 and that I will have a REALLY GREAT figure after the surgery. That made me feel soooooooo good since it was obviously coming from a PS (I am so hard on myself & always find my flaws). Anyway at my consultation we had decided on 400cc's Silicone moderate (that is the only profile he does) unders. I decided last week that I may want to go a little bigger after reading so many posts of people regretting not getting that little bit more of cc's. So the nurse ordered me the next size up. I told my PS this morning I was thinking of going a tad bigger not knowing if he would. He said "well, we will go with the biggest implant they ordered for you" YAY!!!!!!! Which was 457cc's not that big of a difference but I think it will be enough to make me happy that I decided to go a tad bigger. I want that natural look and want to be able to play them up in the right situations and hide them when I need to be more conservative. The anthesiologist (sp) came in did his work and off we went to the OR. The nurse asked me what we (me & PS) had decided on as far as cc's. I said "he said whatever the biggest size you order, is what he is going to do" She then said "OH good then we will go with the 860cc's" I laughed and said "OMG I think I will just keep my current small ones, thank you very much though" That definately put me at ease and knew I was in good hands. When I woke up in the recovery room, I asked when were we going to get started because I felt no pain, no nausea nothing, the nurse said "Uhm your done, it's over". I was just so surprised given I had such a horrible experience my first time. My mom came in and said "WOW, you got boobies now" that made me feel good. I was so thirsty, so they got me a coke zero (wanted a diet coke, but that was all they had and at that point I just needed caffeine. I had a headache and it was due to no caffeine.) I asked the nurse like 4 times when I could workout again. I know she was getting frustrated for having to tell me the samething over & over. BUT she said I could do lower body end of next week if I felt up to it, BUT NO upper body or heavy cardio for 3-4 weeks. Then she finally wrote it down for me so I wouldn't ask again LOL!!!!! Anyway the ride home was great, and I have actually been great all afternoon. The anthesia (sp) has finally worn off some, so despite a little dizziness I have not had any problems. I have gotten up and gotten myself something to drink and stuff & I can go pee all by myself with no problems at all YIPPEE!!!!!. I did take a Lortab #5 just to be on the safe side and other than it making me a little dizzy & a tad nausea that's it thus far. I am still numb so I know I will get some pain later. I honestly do not feel as if I had surgery, it is almost freaking me out. I know he did unders because that is what I had before & what we discussed BUT I will double check Friday at my follow up. I am guessing I am doing so good because I have had it done before & have been working out & in good shape. Anyway that is my story thus far, sorry it was so long. Thanks if you actually read it. I just hope I can continue to do so good.

Glad to hear the re-do is turning out to be a breeze so far! I had a pretty good recover with this set - I hope the next set works out to be as easy for me as your re-do. And I hope mine last 15 years too!!
