It has been 24 hours now and I am honestly feeling pretty good! Yesterday we arrived at 9:45 for an 11:00 BA. Did the standard urine test, height, weight, pulse, blood pressure, etc. Filled out all the paperwork and met with the nurse first. She reviewed all my meds and hubby took notes. Then he prepared a pill cheat sheet for home! Then Dr. Cohen came in for a final consults and what to expect. Then I met with the anestegiologist and I explained how I usually get nausous, so he attached a patch behind ear to combat that nausea. I talked about hockeu & bseball with the anasheiologts then drifted off to sleep. Apparently my procedure was no more than 90 minutes. After I woke up in recovery, I immediately vomited, but I told the nurse beforehand that I probably will. Then 2 moere times...Blah. Dr. Cohen came in to show me pictues and decribe how well the BA went. He ended up with 400cc's for both right & left. I was in severe pain upon the drive home and going up the stairs into bed. Dh brought me some soup and all my meds. I continue to use the pain pump every hour. Beleive it or not, I did sleep very well in a reclined position propped with tons of pillows.

This afternoon, I went back to Dr. Cohen so he can remove the bra & ace bandage. He instructed me, and hubby, how to massage the breasts to make sure they do not get hard, and to aid in the drop into the pocket. After home, I was really hungry! I am so glad my appetite is back to normal. As soon as I figure out how to add in pics, I will do so. I return for an additional follow-up on Monday 6/30 to remove the pain pump, and so the dr. could take more pics. I am not in pain, just some discomfort. I am staying on top of my meds and hope to be someone normal within the week. I was also instructed to do some heavy beatng ever now and then to work the check muscles.

So I will edit more detail for 6/30's appointment. Ladies, than you so much for your kind words and suppport over the past few weeks!

That's so exciting! I'm glad your recovery is going well...just remember to take it easy and have little activities (movies to watch, books/magazines to read) so that you don't get bored!

Yay! Congrats girl! I told you 400ccs! That's awesome! I am jealous. I wish I had gone with 400. Take it easy and rest up. Sounds like you are doing great. Our favorite PS once again does an amazing job!

You know when I first read your story...I somehow read it as if you said that the anesthesiologist drifted off to sleep!!....that sure made me laugh when I realized my mistake....I must still be tired!!

PS...it kind of hurts to laugh after you have had a tummy tuck!! Need to remember to hold down my stomach! Ha!

Anyhow....
