Well ladies, I had my BA today at noon and I feel fantastic! Oh my goodness...I have a feeling (from reading your posts) that tomorrow I won't be as fantastic and the pain will set in but for now...I feel great!

I won't repeat all the stuff that happens ALWAYS when you arrive etc. My biggest fear or point of highest anxiety was when i had to walk myself into the OR and lay myself down on the table...it was also a fear when I had abdominal surgery 2 years ago...I don't remember even starting to fall asleep!

So I woke up after apparently being in surgery for only 45min and boy was I nauseaus (sp.)....I heaved quite a bit so the nurse gave me some gravol...which made me soooooo tired.....I did not even want to wake up...but she made me...

So finally I got to go home and here I am...

My story isn't all that amazing! just like everyone elses...

So they ended up doing exactly what I wanted 350cc in both under, round, crease, mod. profile etc.

I will keep you updated..but ladies let me know...does the pain get worse day 2 or 3????

thanks so much for your support this is not 1/2 as bad as I thought it would be!

Sorry to say but day 2 is much worse! Just stay on top of your pain meds and you'll be alright. Take them every 4 hours as much as you can. Also, ice them! I swear by keeping on top of the pain meds and icing as much as possible, I really saved myself a lot of pain. Good luck, and congrats on the new girls!

Excellent... maybe it was useful after all to get so afraid - now it seems easy

I'm glad you are coming through it well. Sounds like you are in way less pain than I was.

Heh congrats and welcome to the wonderful world of boobs. Yes the pain is worse day 2 or 3 but like someone already said take pain med and ice. I would put ice on the boob, not directly on the skin though, and I would fall asleep with the ice pack on. It really does make a world of difference if you can keep the swelling down. Remember to take it easy because you might think your feeling okay but its really the pain meds talking. Sleep is also the best for healing the body. Take care and keep us posted between sleeps and icing.

Yeah you did it. I'm so glad it was like you had read about - makes it easier I think to go through since you know what to expect! Hope you have a good recovery!
