Deciding on having a BA:
I knew I had wanted a BA ever since I was a teenager. Looking at my mom, I had a feeling I would NEVER make it past an A! By the time I was 19, I was a small B, and not going anywhere...so I always had it in the back of my mind I would get it done. About a month ago I came to the realization that if I wanted to get this done, I wanted to do it now! I was extremely fortunate to get a very god job a year ago, and I knew I could work there for at least another year and a half before I begin clinicals and the U. It was now or never...

The consultations:
I set up 2 appointments after doing extensive research on the internet and message boards. I had a feeling which one I would like more, and in the end I was right. The doctor I chose was Dr Joe Gryskiewicz in Burnsville MN. I was very comfortable with the Dr and his staff, and his experience was unmatched. He also specialized in a "quick recovery" augmentation procedure that I was particularly interested in. I went in and tried on sizers, as well as having my measurements taken. I ended up picking 371cc moderate silicone. A week later I had a feeling that I just wasnt going to be happy with that size so I went back...2 more times! I ended up ordering the 425cc high profile silicone implants to be inserted through my underarm, and placed under the muscle.

THE SURGERY! :
I was scheduled for 7am surgery time, July 11th 2008. I was to be there by 5:45 so we arrived at 5:30 (no one was there yet) and my fiancee and I got to watch the sunrise come up as we waited for the center to open. It was so relaxing! I really started to get nervous once inside. After paperwork I got in my gown and got the IV inserted (the worst part for me!) and said my goodbye to hubby. I laid on the OR table and within 2 minutes I was asleep. When I woke up I was with a nurse and my clothes were back on. Apparently I was awake and asking questions because I asked the same ones again and they were laughing because I didnt remember. I felt GREAT! I didnt really look at them, but I talked to the nurse about post op and the my hubby went to get the car! We were driving away by 9:30 am!

Post-Op:
I am now 6 hours post op and I have NO pain! I havent even taken any vicodin since I left the surgery center! I am taking it easy and watching movies, but I have had no problem getting up on my own and moving my arms around! They look BEAUTIFUL!!!! already in perfect position, a little pointy but still perfect!!! I am fitting just PERFECTLY in to a 34D bra right now!!! pictures coming soon!!!

Congrats on your new perfect boobies! What do you mean by "quick recovery" augmentation? Did you just have a twilight and local anesthia (sp?) that is they way i'm having mine so I hope it's the same that you had done!!! So awesome that you feel great!!

Congratulations!

It's funny you mention asking the same questions over and over. I did that about 4 times. I was totally out of it in recovery, so I don't remember recovery at all.

Hopefully, you can stay the course with a smooth recovery.

It was originally developed by a Dr Tebbetts, (try a google search too!) and my Dr now only uses that technique because 95% of his patients are back to normal activities and off prescription pain meds within 24 hours! I can back him up on that one...I am feeling great! I have only taken 1 vicodin in the last 9 hours and I am doing fine!
