Hi everyone,

I had my ba at around 7:45 a.m. It was quick - went in and peed, had my pre pics taken, my iv started, chit chatted with the nurses, last minute chat with ps, positioned myself on the table then, bam, I was in the truck on the way home. I don't remember a thing.

I was supposed to get 300 cc mentor, smooth, round mod saline 260 cc in one and 290 cc in the other. I can't remember anything past lying down on the table. I have ice on my chest (helps so much) have taken 1 percoset, don't feel naseous but I am not hungry at all. I will take the valium tonight.

I have heard day 2 is the most painful so I suspect I will be in serious pain tomorrow. I don't know why I feel okay - I can raise my arms ( but ps told my husband I shouldn't) pull my pants up and down etc I am certain I will pay the price tomorrow.

I do want to day to the ladies who are nervous...don't be. I was a wreck last week, but got a grip and went in with a positive attitude. It may have helped. I can't tell what they look like until tomorrow when the bandages come off.

Congratulations! yes day two sucked, but it sure is worth it in the long run!!!

Morning everyone,

I had a decent day 1; watched movies (Thank God for Apple tv and ice) walked around the house and fell asleep around 11:30 p.m. I am a side sleeper so it was a challenge to get comfortable.

At around 3:30 a.m., I woke up to pee and, boy, did my pecs feel tight. I popped my meds, got more ice and went back to sleep. I have much more discomfort today and am not looking forward to my bandages coming off this morning. I bet that will hurt.

So, in conclusion day 1 was fine but day 2 is a bit achy. I feel like I did 1000 push-ups!

I hardly ate yesterday; I was not hungry at all. I thought I would be since I eat about 6-7 times a day normally. I wasn't nauseous, just not hungry at all. I drank about 130 ounces because I was very thirsty.

I forgot to add that my ps himself called me twice check yesterday to check up on me - I thought that was very courteous and professional.

I'm glad everything seems to be going well for you, except sleeping and sore. And your ps sounds really nice. Sounds like a good choice. Good luck with the rest of your recovery.

Hi -

I went in to see my ps and have my bandages removed. Wow - they are lovely. He told me I was a teeny bit of a challenge because of how strong my pec muscles were (I used to do about 300-400 push ups a week in my strength training workouts) but he was very pleased with how they turned out. I am too.

He put me in a sports bra and wrapped the strap around me; I have to wear it for 5 days but it does not but me at all. I have two exercises I have to do and he wants me on a treadmill walking. He is by no means conservative - he wants me to move my arms above my head etc He doesn't believe in just staying still during recovery which I appreciate.

Day 2 started out a little achy but I think it's because I was sleeping upright and I can't sleep that way. But, since then, I feel great.

My only issue is I haven't gone to the bathroom (#2) which is getting on my last nerves.

Good Luck to anyone going in this week - based on my experience it will be fine
