BA was done on July 2nd.
I had 10mg valium the night before...good night sleep. I was really surprised at how calm I was even before sleeping with daddy VAlium. I had a peace that I knew everything was going to be ok. When I rose the next morning...another 10 mg valium and some super duper anti-nausea meds....life was good!

When I got to the surgery center at 7:15 (surgery was scheduled for 8ish) I had the before pics taken and then emptied my bladder, changed into the surgery gown and by then my wonderful doc was there and made his marks (I had a crescent lift as well as a BA). I then went to "the room". The anesthesiologist came in...and started doing his stuff...my nurse was so precious....by then my arms were on 'the cross' and she just kept stroking my arm and telling me how they were going to take such good care of me. At that point I felt the 'cocktail' the anesthesiologist gave me.....I smiled and said "that was REALLY good"!!! He said "you liked that"...OH YEAH!!! Then I started talking about my oldest son being a firefighter and what city he was employed in and how about that...the anesthesiologist lives in the same city!!! awesome!!! Then I woke up in recovery. I saw my wonderful husband standing at the end of the bed...I remember my bottom jaw starting 'chattering". I asked the nurse to take me to the restroom and I told her to "pull my pants down!" and "pull my pants up!"...haha!!! I was soooo out of it!! She was great! I remember getting in the car and waking about 2 times on the way home! Good pain meds!!!! I went back the next day and had the surgical wrap removed and had the surgical bra put on. My bff came over the following day. She brought me 3 roses and bbq potato chips and a bottle of wine and some 'girlie movies'. We laid in bed with our wine (yes I drank a glass and probably shouldn't have, but who could make a rational decision on Norcor/Vicodine?) and enjoyed the saltiness of the chips and laughed at the movies....even tho I don't remember what they were! lol! That was on July 4th. My super hubby and her sat outside on the patio and caught some fireworks from the next city. I was too tired for that so I went to Vicodine City and enjoyed the ride. I slept with 'ice' packs for the next 2 weeks. Didn't need to for that long, but the cold felt good, so I did it any way. Been sleeping on my back with a 'wedge' under my feet since July 2nd. It has really been awesome. I sleep eleveated at about 45 degrees since then too. Getting pretty used to it. To my surprise.....my 2 week post op went very well and they said I did not have to massage any more (they told me to massage at my next day vist). I was very shocked to see my beautiful new boobies on day 2...they didn' look freakie!!!!!! They actually look pretty darn good !!! I have both 700 cc sils unders. I did go to victoria secret and bought my first 40D bra!!!!!! and it was beautiful!!! I cannot were underwire for 3 more weeks, but I am ready to go when I can. Just yesterday I was at work and looked down and got all warm and fuzzy thinking "I can't really believe I HAVE BOOBS!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I did have D's when I nursed all 3 of my kiddos, but that was just a tease!
They are beautiful and every day they look better and better. I am still going thru more drop and fluff. So 40 D's so far. pre-op was 40 barely A/B...>I promise I will get my hubby to load my before pics and after to show. I am taking pics every week. What's really funny....the night before my surgery, my hubby took before pics of my itty bittys without a bra....when he was previewing the pics....he went 'wow....you REALLY didn't have much, did you?'....uh....NO KIDDING!!!!! how funny he didn't realize how pathetic my saggy, ittty bitty's were....

what is awesome is now my hubby is really paying me a lot more attention and saying a lot of really cute 'boobie' thing about me now!!!! I will get to go back to the gym in about 3 more weeks, so I will be whittling away at the buttocks and tum-tum in the coming months so my 'beauties' will really 'stand out".....I LOVE MY BOOBS!!!!!!!!!!!

What a fun post! It sounds like you had a great experience all the way around. How nice of your bff, too! I bet she enjoyed that time as much as you did (but just remembers more....lol).

Keep taking good care of yourself and your new girls. You're a few weeks out now, but it will just keep getting better and better!
