Its finally done!!
Hi ladies,
Before I tell you my story I would just like to say a big TY to Nikki & Co for this fabulous website & forum, & also A big thanks to everyone who wished me well & gave me support & encouragement... TY!! My Story BA is something that I have wanted for such a long time... everyone who knows me, knows I wanted a boob job & especially after having my last baby (who was almost 11LB) He was a big boy & always hungry too... After he was done with me my poor boobs looked hideous!! Anyway after years of research & hours on end looking at B&A photos, two consults with different surgeons, I finally found my doctor... Dr George Mayson of the Sydney Cosmetic Clinic... He is an angel. From the moment I walked into his room for my first consult I knew he was the one... (sounds a lil corny..lol) He has a passion for his art & just made me feel at ease instantly, & I though I already knew so much about BA.... Oh no he gave me so much more knowledge... TY Dr. Mayson The Night Before We live 3 hours away from the hospital so I decided to leave the night before & not have to worry about getting lost on the morning of my big day... I had enough things to worry about... Didn't want to be yelling at my hubby for getting us lost... coz it would have been his fault not mine!!! hehehe... both of us hate Sydney... it a crazy place, crazy fast drivers!!! So my babysitter arrives & we pack the car, give the boys a kiss & hit the road. We check into our room and enjoy our alone time...arrr its nice! I was quite surprised at how settled I was... I think I was ready... I had positive thoughts about my PS & my new boobs. I watched my fav Sunday night shows on the telly (Private Practice & Lipstick Jungle) & then went to sleep... on my tummy for the last time... trying to tell my self belly sleeping is over rated!!! The day has come My Alarm goes off.... its 6.am... we both look at each other & smile... OMG!!! today's the day! For some reason I wake up starving & thirsty as... bloody mind over matter.... Don't normally eat straight up but I knew I would miss my cuppa tea.. My hubby made his, he was frowned upon, he just smirked!! What's a girl to do?? So off we go, we get to the hospital & the lift door opens & there is my surgeon... My tummy started to do sumosalts... He said not to worry it would all be fine.... Can tell he's seen this face before (the scared out of my mind face). We do the admin stuff, the receptionist was a lil odd, she somehow lost my paperwork after just going through it with me... she took my payment (Credit Card) & then while I was getting all dressed up in my o so fashionable gown, hat & booties O & please the sexy momma knickers... they were hot!!! She (the receptionist) tells my DH to go & get cash for the payment to the hospital.... I didn't even get to say goodbye...  & she already took the payment...I stood at the pre op waiting area looking out the window as my hubby is driving away, thinking WTF where is he going... I still needed some cuddles & some lovin before lights out!!!  I was booked in for 7am... the phone rings.... the anaesthetist is stuck in accident traffic on the harbour bridge...bloody hell... Dr Mayson came & had a chat with me, got his markers & measuring utensils must mention the split level...lol then he started to measure & draw all over my chest...goose bumbs galore, I was freezin! Its 8 am... Dr Leighton the anaesthetist arrived... better late then never I keep telling my self... By 8.15 I'm on the table in the or... The last thing I remember is Dr Leighton telling me he was just going to give me my pre dinner drink... hehehe & oh not to worry he would not feel a thing... uh so comical..  The next thing I know the nursing staff are saying hello.. I feel no pain & go straight for a peak... wow... hello girls!! Can someone get me a drink please.... No no no, not yet they kept telling me... dam it. Finally after an hour in recovery I convince the nurse I have no nausea & i need a drink... she goes & asks the doctor... yes, but only a sip... that's all I needed. Another hour passes & I start to feel a lil discomfort in my right side the nurse has a look, its a lil swollen, Dr Mayson comes in for a look... yes its a bit swollen but looks ok, no hematoma. Not too worry!! Finally I get taken to the post recovery room & sit in a recliner, have a cuppa tea & biscuit... Just what I needed. lol Three hours in surgery & three hours in recovery & I'm all good to go... Surprisingly "they" (the new girls) look pretty good... I was prepared for big ugly odd looking breast but instead got my boobs just full.. Goal achieved so far... Still so many steps to go thru but it can only get better from here... I hope.  The trip home was ok.. the pain med's wore off not long after... I popped some Digesics & cross my fingers... they take the edge off but there is still some discomfort there. The first night sleep was ok. when I woke up at 6am... & I was in agony... need pain meds... ouch!!! Today has been ok.. probably a 7 out of 10 pain wise... But I was expecting that.  Even tho I'm in intense pain I'm so glad I got this far... Thank you to all you girls who helped me thru when I was ready to cancel my surgery... Fingers crossed for a speedy, painfree recovery to everyone about to go under the knife.... & to you girls who are still waiting patiently for your BA date to finally come around.... Just relax, As I was told by girls on here.... Its a big decision & self doubt is normal.... But go a head its worth it in the end... Thanks again... I'll post some pics as soon as I can... I'm not game to take this support bra off yet! Leah -xx- P.S I'm sorry it was a lil long.... but I always like reading the long ones!!

Congrats hon!! Your story was great! Hope your pain eases! It will only get better!! In a few days, you won't even remember the intense pain! I'm glad you are happy
