DH and I went away for a couple of days for our anniversary on Sunday, left all 4 kids w/ Grammy. We did a little shopping, went out to eat and saw a movie. I showered w/ hibiclens that night. I took off my nail polish & gave my feet a little pedicure w/o polish. Took out my contacts, rings, watch & earings. I didn't sleep that much, like up every hour wanting to see if it was time to wake up. LOL

On Monday we had to be at the office @ 6:45. Did another shower w/ hibiclens & washed & dryed my hair. Put on my VS PINK sweatsuit & off we went. The 2 nurses were very nice. I changed into my gown, booties & hat. I was starting to tear up a little, but it passed. Took my pregnancy test, got my IV. Kissed DH goodbye & doc came in a drew on me & I walked into the OR. I told the nurse I was glad I didn't have my glasses on to see all the toots & scary instruments in the OR. I layed on the table and put my arms on the cross. The nurse strapped some support leg things for circulation on my calves & then the oxygen mask was put on. They said I would start to get sleepy & I remember asking "oh, are you giving me the medicine already?" and I woke up. I remember the nurse dressing me. Giving me sips of water & sitting me up a little more every few minutes. I asked for DH to get me some chapstick. The nurse said the dr. took a pic in the ER and did i want to see. I said no, because i didn't want to feel ill if it was gross. And I thought I wouldn't remember anyways. She showed DH. They said everything went great & I would really like them. I sat up & put on my sweatshirt & the nurse wheeled me out to the car. We left by 10.

DH drove us back to the hotel. I kind of wanted to eat a little something. We walked down to the buffet. DH got some a plate of fruit & we went back to the room. I remember starting on all my meds right away. I had my wedge & pillows all set up from the morning. I crawled into bed. I didn't sleep much, just resting. I slept w/ my hoodie off. They wrapped me in an ace bandage. I could feel padding etc. underneath. They looked huge. The rest of that day I was a little sick to my stomach. I couldn't decided if i wanted to sit up or lay down. I tried eating jello or pudding or gatorade. Nothing seemed to help. I never threw up. I just snacked on saltines. I drank a ton of water as my mouth was very dry & i knew i had to get that junk out of my system. We ended up leaving for a little bit to get out & walk. DH drove through McDonald's and then we went back to the hotel. I looked at my pics many times that day. It looked great. Later that night i took a valium and that helped me relax & not think about the nausea. I set my alarm & took my meds regurarly. I swear I was up every hour peeing, i had drank so much water.

Tuesday we walked down for breakfast, fruit again. And then I did a little more resting. We left again for lunch and went to a sit down restaurant. It felt soooooooooooooo good to eat real food, sandwich, fries & a coke. We went back to the hotel & I layed down & DH packed up & loaded the car. My first post op was at 2pm.

They cut off my ace bandage & tape & gauze. My boobs were way smaller than I thought. That ace bandage and padding had me fooled. They look nice. Not in my collar bone. They have a nice slope so far. Not much brusing, just a little in the crease. I don't think i have much swelling. We'll see i guess. I have steristrips over the glue that will come off in about 3 weeks. Said everything was looking good. I could shower. Wear a wireless bra for 3 weeks. I have to wear a strap. and a follow up in one week.

To me it's like nursing for a 5th time (however these won't shrinking this time). My boobs aren't too HUGE. Like nursing size, which is perfect and natural looking. They feel full, like nursing. They don't like forgein objects. I had my last pain pill Wednesday morning. Today is my last day of celebrex. Tomorrow is my last day of the antibiotic. I am on a baby asprin for 2 weeks. I feel good. A little stiff/sore, like ribs etc. I can put shirts on etc. I love filling out a full 36B BRA!!

congrats on ur recovery and sounds like ur pretty satisfied, but ur only a few days ahead of me and there will be a few more changes to come.. YAY we made it to the other side and we are starting a new life int he world of big knockers.. im glad ur doing good
