Hi ladies,

Well, I woke up after the surgery, whoo hoo! haha, that was my only fear as many of you know. My surgery
was at 10:30 am yesterday, and I had my first post op today at 10:30am. He just wanted to check they looked ok and no hematomas. He said they looked good and gave me the go ahead to raise my arms already.

THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL!! I CRIED WHEN I SAW THEM. They are absoultely perfect. They look so natural, and such a part of me. I still feel me, which is wonderful I started a 34A, and think I am looking a tiny C. EXACTLY what I wanted.

Yesterday I was in almost no pain whatsoever, I am taking Percoset and/or Tylenol 3 with codene, whichever I feel I need to take. I stayed up all day yacking to my poor boyfriend, reading books, watching tv. He finally made me go to sleep at about 11:30 pm and I slept only until 1:00am when my mom woke me up for my next Percoset. After that I slept until 5:00 am when she woke me again and I stayed up until about 8:00am. Fell asleep till 9:30, then my mom woke me up again for more drugs, a smoothie, and a grilled cheese sandwich. She helped me put on a differant shirt, undies, and a skirt and off we went for my post op. It was quick, there wasnt much touching, just looking for anything that didnt look good then I was on my way. We stopped and got some stool softeners so I dont get too consitpated and now I am back home. I was able to change back into some pj shorts by myself.

I am doing wonderful, the pain is nothing. (I got 275cc under the muscle co gel mentors, moderate profile). I think I am just tough or had too many ass kicking workouts, because thats kind of what it feels like. I am so proud of myself for doing all this, I know that sounds lame but I am. I am sure it helps I am being totally babied, but I am still able to do alot on my own!

I am allowed to now lift my arms, and lift 5 pounds. My next post op is on next Thursday where I will learn taping techniques and massage and will then be able to lift 10 pounds. (dont think I will be lifting anything tho!

Yesterday I got my boyfriend to help me pee... which I did about 10 times because I was chugging water haha. He even had to wipe for me, haha but today I am good on my own. I also am able to sleep flat, but chose to sleep with a small pillow under my back and that was fine. I am starting to see what morning boob is all about tho. Even just after sitting on the couch, and when I get up to pee it kind of shocks me for a sec!!

I have a kitten who is completely pissed I cant hold her, and she keeps trying to lay on my chest but she just doesnt understand so she is BITING BITING BITING. She keeps walking all over my laptop but it hurts too much to shove her off, so she is definately a pain in my arse right now.

This is all over the place, but I think thats about everything, more details to come!! I am so happy, and feel greeeeat, and just feel so blessed I am doing so well! Thank you all for the support!!

CONGRATULATIONS!! I sure hope that my BA goes as good as yours has. Keep us posted on your recovery.

Oh yeah havoklady is back! Thank you for sharing your story!

It seems that everyone has a difficult time going to the bathroom....and then you said your bf had to help you wipe. I'm a litte afraid as I don't think my hubby can get off of work. My surgery is at 2:00 pm and he then has to go to work the following morning at 1:00 am. So he will be gone for about 10 hours. Yikes.

yah the bathroom was a little weird i have to admit! BUT i know i could have done it alone if need be. just take the toilet paper off the role. Today I am little more tight and sore and can do it all alone, so I think yesterday I was more just nervous. I really think you will do great even with him leaving. My mom picked me up from the surgery and we got home around 2, my boyfriend came at 3 and she left. He stayed with me like I said until about 11:30 but at that pointed I didnt even need him. I just had too much damn energy for some reason! I really think you will be ok alone though. My only issue last night was I had troubles sitting up alone since my couch is so mushy, otherwise I could have taken the meds without my mom. Honestly, you might enjoy those 10 hours all alone so you can get some good sleep. I am alone right now,and loving every minute of it!! haha

Just some advice, I asked for anti-nausia meds in my anesthic and they gave them to me, and I felt sooo good after. They told me I would need to be in post op for 2 hours, but after 45minutes I was bouncing off the walls so they let me go! I asked about this today, and apparently there is something in the anti-nausia thing that gives you energy like that. I truly think it's what made me not be in so much pain! So make sure to ask for it, just in case that is why i felt so good!! Good luck and sorry I am babling!!!!

yeah! I'm so glad you're doing well. I also got unders and today am in almost no pain. Just uncomfortable. Sounds like you have a great boyfriend too. :-)

Hi Tammie! congrats to you too! yay, we are boobie twins. august 13 must be a lucky day since we both are having such great recoveries!!! continue to get better and keep me posted!!! and yes, my boyfriend is wonderful. he even brought me a 100 gift certificate to la senza yesterday (im in canada, so no victorias secret!), a huuuuge thing of flowers and the sweetest card. it meant alot because i totally wasnt expecting anything like that. whoo hoo, cant wait for free bras now hahahah

WOW, I have read every post of new girls posted today and you have the best recovery so far. other than your boobie birthday buddy. I am so happy for you. You are all so ahead of me. I'm still planning a date and listening to you is helping me. Thanks for the post. I'm so excited to hear how you are in a week and a month and so on. Can't wait for pics.
