I have them. :) :)
Okay I'm really drugged up but I'll do the best I can with this little story....
My friend and I drove 6 hrs to LA from SF Weds afternoon and I felt remarkably good- not nervous at all! We arrived at 9 pm on Weds night and wheeled all of our luggage up into the room because I'll be staying down here for 9 days to recover. I had a surprisingly good sleep Weds night and woke up at 3:45 AM yesterday morning. I washed before with Dial soap (the stuff keeps you clean all day!), put on some tinted moisturizer (they said that was fine when I got there confessed I wasn't entirely make-up free), took out my naval ring, took my anti-nausea pill, and pulled my hair back. There was no traffic and it was still dark, which was great! My best friend (a guy) is taking care of me and we had to be at the surgery center (separate from Dr. Kim's office) at 6 am which was an hour before the start of my surgery. We went upstairs, and when the nurse arrived, she took me in the back immediately. She had me pee in a cup for a pregnancy test, took my vitals, and had me get dressed in a blue gown that unbuttoned in the back , thigh length white stockings, blue cotton underwear, and a head cap. Then she had me put my stuff into a locker in the bathroom, and helped me into the bed on wheels. She had the heater blowing under the sheets for me because it was freezing in that room and gave me a few magazines while and monitoring me. We chatted a bit but I was jittery so could hardly focus on the conversation. She then put the IV in, (ouchie) and began to administer fluids to keep me hydrated and 10 min later, she began putting the antibiotics into me. I felt so much better because I had been feeling so hungry and dehydrated since having woken up. The catheter in my arm was pinching like crazy so in my nervous state I was asking if it was all the way in! The nurse asked me TONS of health questions and then the anesthesiologist, came in, shook my hand, and went over the EXACT same questions. I was just ready to get in there at that point. Then Dr. Kim finally came in and had me get up to take my before photos. I told him I want large C to small D and he said that'd be fine and as we were walking out the nurse said the $6500 question "What size Dr. Kim?" He said "375 CC's for both." I was excited!!! He was holding the bag of fluids and I was attached to him on the IV and it felt like I was on a leash, he was walking so fast! Then I went pee one more time and got back to the bed. They basically told me I could go into the surgical room from there so I followed them and they told me not to touch anything blue, and where to put my head. The anesthesiologist told me he was going to administer the drugs to "put me to sleep" through the IV and before I knew it, I was completely out. Waking up was VERY foggy and I just remember intense, intense pressure which progressively got worse. They were calling my name over and over and I just wanted to be asleep because I was so tired and horribly uncomfortable. The very sweet and patient nurse was talking me through breathing because I began to have a panic attack from the massive amount of pain. I couldn't take in deep breaths because my chest and stomach hurt so badly and then my heart rate would go up, and the monitor was beeping faster and faster which just made me panic even more! They kept putting the oxygen mask over my face (her and the anesthesiologist) and every time he'd leave, she'd call him back in because I just was having such a hard time breathing. He finally told me he was going to give me something to calm me down and it is really difficult to remember anything after that. I guess I was scheduled to leave at around 9 but was there until 11:30. The nurse and my friend wheeled me out (I was so drugged up and just not ready to leave) and I can't remember the drive back to the hotel and could barely walk so am shocked I made it to the room. Yesterday was pretty horrible. I ate lots of chicken noodle soup, drank apple juice, talked to my family on the phone (when I could finally hold my tiny cell phone to my ear), and cried every time the vicodin began to wear off. Getting up to go to the bathroom is absolute torture and I'm walking hunched over.... literally a hunch back. It is so difficult because I cannot use my stomach muscles either due to the fact that I had TUBA. It's amazing how much we use our chest and core.... I'm convinced we use primarily those for everything at this point!!! I am wrapped up like a mummy around my belly button and swollen breasts, but I'll get to see them today when I go back for my first post-op and Dr. Kim puts me into my sports bra. I honestly was not ready for this amount of pain- it is pretty brutal for me. I'm on extra strength vicodin every 4 hrs (1 1/2 pills) and after about 3 hrs the pain goes from a 4 or 5 to about an 7 or 8. It's so unbearable I'm going to call the office today and ask if I can take any more. Anyway girls, hopefully my story wasn't too jumbled because I'm so drugged up and my body hurts. You'll be hearing a lot more from me later- I'm going to go take a nap again and am really hoping I begin to feel better soon.

Congratulations to you. Hope you feel better soon. Your experience on the day of surgery is exactly like mine.. I know what you mean by feeling like being on a leash..
Can't wait to hear more about your results. =)
