Hi guys! So yesterday was my BA. Here is the story! Its extremly long! ENJOY For starters, I got my boobs free! I won them on a local radio contest called "Pick Your Plastic." I had wanted to get a BA for a long time due to the fact that I lost a lot of weight (85 lbs) and was left with saggy boobies. So I was thrilled to win this contest! My BA was scheduled at 8:00, and we live about an hour away, so we got up at 5:30 and I showered with Hibiclense, and watched my husband eat breakfast...very jealous...I am a religious breakfast eater! We got to the Dr's office about 7:15...a little early, and suprisingly, I was extremely calm...no turning back at that point! I filled out some paperwork. My parents, who live in VA happened to be in town, so I had WAY too many people there...My husband, my mother-in-law, my mom and dad and two sisters. Anyways...I filled out my paperwork and they called me back. My mom and dad prayed with me before I went it, and then my husband came back with me. They took my blood pressure and told me to change into the gown, and to leave my underwear on but no sweatpants. It was chilly. The Surgeon came in and opened my file which had huge colored photos of my saggy boobies in it...wonderful!! Anyways, I had originally decided on silicone, but then after doing some research, felt more comfortable with saline, so he explained that they would have to go under the muscle to avoid rippling, and told me the implants were in the 550-600 range. He said we would definitely put 575 in but that if he felt that bigger would look better that he may even overfill to 625 which I was excited about! I am not positively sure what I have though. Next I met my Anesthesiologist...Joe...he was cool and told me he had been doing this since before I was born. I asked him if he could drip a cup of coffee into my IV...he said he would try..haha. Well the next thing I know I was being walked back to the operating room. Looked a little scary to walk into...lots of stuff. I did notice some pictures of dogs on the wall, which were Joe's. We talked about his dogs while he put in my IV and then he put some drugs into it, and asked me if I could feel his happy drugs...everything was kind of spinning. I said yeah I do feel them....thats the last thing i remember! Wierdest feeling! Next thing I know I woke up shaking. The nurse said "You look beautiful!" Im sure she was lying to me! I couldnt stop shaking which she said was normal. I was nice a warm though...she had a heater tube thing under my blanket blowing warm air. I asked some random half awake questions like..."How did you guys get me in here?", "Does my family know I am done?" and "I bought 2 bras cause i didnt know which one would fit"...ahah now that I think about it, I think I was talking ALOT! I didnt feel nauseaus at all though which was good. They got me in a wheel chair and then she helped me to the bathroom and got my husband. I do not remember getting into the car, but do remember that my upper back hurt quite a bit, and that every bump my husband hit in the car hurt. I was half asleep, and my mom was in the back seat feeding me ice. They wouldnt give me my pain pills cause I hadnt eaten anything, so they got me a slurpee on the way home and then I had a slice of toast, and went to bed. I couldnt sleep cause my back hurt. My mom convinced me to move to the couch and propped me up with some pillows...that was better. I fell asleep for like 2 hours. I woke up. This was the worst part of my day. I asked my husband to help me to the bathroom. I peed, stood up and then when I was washing my hands I started to feel dizzy, which is partially due to the fact that I regularly have low blood sugar, also, I had only eaten a piece of toast in about 17 hours. Anyways, my husband and my dad had to hold me up for like 4 minutes in the bathroom. My vision and my hearing went and I started to sweat. Finally they helped me walk to the couch. I finally came out of it and my husband forced 2 bowls of ice cream down my throat, which truly did help. That was the worst of it so far. I am up and moving around, slept most of the night, and even went to the grocery store with my mom today. I am trying to space out my pain meds every 4 hours. I feel really tight and sore. I get to take a shower today, and am not bandaged up so i have seen my boobs already..they aint pretty! Definitley frankenboob here! My husband said I look like a linebacker. I agree. They are the wierdest things I have ever seen. My PS told me I would hate them at first, but to just be patient. They are way up high, far apart and like square shaped. I am taking pictures every day, and will post them in a few days. SO thats my LONG story. But I liked reading all of you guys' long stories before my surgery. I think reading about others helped to calm my fears. Thanks guys!
