Boobified by Transform in Manchester!!
Well I've had it done, and it all went great. Had it done by Transform at their Abbey Pines private hospital in Manchester.
I arrived at 12pm yesterday (Sunday 17th). I drove myself up, but it was okay because I was being picked up by mum & dad today, so that mum could drive me, and dad drive my car back. I was flipping starving as I couldn't eat anything all morning Nurse spoke to me and gave me surgical stockings and took my blood pressure and stuff. I was in a double room, one bathroom between us & a tv each, but we were always screened off from each other. I had to wait until about 3 until the PS came to see me, and then the anaethetist. When I first saw him the PS said my range was 300 - 380, and ge'd prob go for 340, but yesterday he said he was happier going with 300, otherwise we would have to do unders. I said i'd be happy with 300. He said my breast were a very nice shape, and should be good afterwoods More to follow in a minute... |

I walked up to theatre with a nurse and had a quick chat with the staff in there. They put a canulla in my hand, which wasn't too bad, but then they injected some stuff into it and it absolutely killed. Then they told me they were giving me the one that would make me sleep, and next thing I knew I was waking up in recovery.
Boobs were hurting quite a lot, so they gave me a shot of morphine which helped. Then when they were happy I'd settled, they took me on my bed back to my room. Had drains on both sides. They helped me into my recovery bra, was very glad it was front fastening Didn't feel too bad really. I had water to sip, and after about 20min or so they asked if I wanted a drink and had a coffee & biscuits. Was probably about 5 by now, and they asked when I wanted me tea, so I said as soon as possible! (I'd ordered meals before I went into surgery). I had veg soup, fish pie, and apple pie with cream, was absolutely delicious!! I didn't feel sick or queasy at all, just really hungry! Didn't have a sleep in the evening, just watched the olympics. Nice comfy bed that I could put the head and feet up and down! Saw the PS sometime, and he had a look and said he was pleased, and was happy for me to go home in the morning. I had a button to press that I could call the nurses any time, and they helped me go to the toilet the first time. I had a little look at the mirror in the bathroom, but was quite hard to see, because I didn't want to take my bra completely off They came a few times to check my blood pressure and stuff. They offered me a sleeping tablet before i went to sleep, and i took it because i'm quite bad at sleeping sometimes, and gave me some volterol. I had an ice pack on as well, which they kept changing. In the morning they took my blood pressure again, and she took my drains out and checked my dressings. The drains coming out didn't hurt too bad, just felt a bit weird. Had my breakfast, then the PS came and had a look, and he was pleased and said they were doing nicely. My parents came at 9 to pick me up, and was discharged at 10. Have been given codeine & paracetamol tablets, and antibiotics to take this week. Journey home was okay, felt very bright really. Have slept most this afternoon, and feels a lot more painful now. Have been taking my tablets on time, but guess the morphine and stuff from yesterday has worn off now. Had a good look in the mirror, and am really pleased. They are not huge, but a nice size, and they still look like my boobs. I can't really describe it, I thought they might look really foreign, but they still look like my boobs but bigger! They are so hard and tight at the moment. Wonder what they will look like when swelling goes down... |

Day 2 post BA and all is going well! To be honest at the moment i just feel like i did a massive session at the gym yesterday, my back and shoulders (and boobs!) are killing. But it's not too bad, i got a top over my head easily this morning, not finding it a problem to move my arms over my head, or get on and off the sofa or anything like that.
Woke up at 3am last night though feeling very sick, think it might be cos i took all my tablets before i went to bed (codeine, anti-biotics, the pill, and diclofenac / volterol) without any supper, oops, wont do that again! so went and had a bowl of cereal, watched some of the olympics, and had a nice lie in this morning! feeling really bright actually, but know i shouldn't push it! it's my birthday tomorrow though, so might go out for a little while for lunch or something have been told i'm not allowed to get dressings wet until post-op next wednesday, so am just pondering how i'm going to wash my hair.... thanks for your comments ladies, and hi afterglowey! will work on getting some pics upi keep having to go and check in the mirror, cos i keep thinking they're really small. they're not, but i just can't get my head around it! it's weird, they still look like my boobs, just bigger. i thought they'd look completely foreign, but they don't, they look really good. feel like absolute bricks though!!

Very excited for you!! I am still awaiting. You make me think of my BF in Manchester, England. She was my inspiration to do this..although hers was a reduction. I am longing to go see her in England soon.
Take care.

Congrats!! I've been wondering if they will feel foreign too so it's nice to hear that I'm not the only one that thinks that way. I'm glad the healing process is going smoothly.

Hi There
Thought Id reply as Im now on day 3 post my BA and thought Id drop you a line as sounds like youre in a similar state as me! Its great to hear your story as I can totally sympathise! So far so good with mine- I must admit I was expecting much worse as Id heard all sorts of awful stories I was pretty worried! I ended up getting the bigger ones -410cc and theyre a bit hard and sticky outy so i hope they look OK in a few weeks!!! They look enourmous at the moment and i look a bit like a blow up doll and they feel a bit brickish?? !! God I hope they settle a bit and get a bit softer. Have you managed a hairwash yet? Take care x |
