New Boobs form Harley Medical Group UK
Hi all - just wanted to share my experience with you all as I know how hard it is to make a decision about where to go for your ba, what size etc. I decided to go to harley medical group as I know two people who had had their ba's with the same surgeon there and they were both happy with results - and I also thought they both looked very natural as I wanted to.
I booked my consultation with a nurse counsellor back in May 08 and was happy with the meeting/information provided so I decided to book my consultation with the cosmetic surgeon and also booked my operation date (paid £500 which comes off the price of the operation which was £3950) - I did not feel pressurized to book either of these dates but was on a tight time scale for the operation and the only way I could safely ensure the date I wanted for the operation that suited me was by booking in advance. Met with the Cosmetiv Surgeon Dr Riccardo Frati in July 08 and decided on size, shape, placement of implant, tried on different sized implants in a bra with a nurse counsellor present. At that time I decided on 330cc but went back and changed my mind to 350cc which the surgeon was happy with - Beth the nurse counsellor was more than happy to meet with me again and talk to me on the phone whenever I had a query - nothing was too much trouble and they put me at ease with the slightest queries I had. Had my operation this Sunday, 17th August at the Highgate Hospital in London - had 350cc, standard round textured implants placed over the muscle - the staff at the hospital were loverly, I had my own room with satellite television, nurse on call 24/7 - yvonne my nurse was absolutely fabulous and I couldn't have asked for a nicer person to see me through my operation and put me at ease. Dr Frati came to see me and told me what would happen, did some drawings on me for the operation - I was then taken to the anaesthetics room were I was put to sleep by again some wonderful professionals who kept me at ease and the next thing I knew I woke up with my loverly new boobies. My boobies are still sore and slightly swollen but I can see even now that my surgeon has done exactly what I wanted and given me natural looking boobs - he really listened to what I wanted. I saw my surgeon on the morning of my discharge and he updated me on how well my surgery had gone and how pleased he was with the outcome at that present time. I am still taking pain killers and antibiotics which the hospital provided on my discharge at 10am on Monday, 18th. I go back to the Harley Medical Centre in Cardiff this Friday for my post-op check up and hope everything continues to go well for me. I have found the JBI site so useful in helping me make decisions and not feel alone in my choices -you have all been a great help to me without even knowing it . thanks to you all. Hope my experience can help someone else in their quest for bigger boobies. 5ft 6in 10st pre-op 34A |

Wow, we had it on the same day!! I went with Transform (in their Manchester hospital). I'm living in Wales as well at the moment, with my parents during the university holidays.
Glad it's gone well for you, hope your recovery goes ok. I don't feel too bad today with the pain, just feel like i had a real heavy session at the gym yesterday & all my back & pec muscles are aching |

Congrats..do you have stiff shoulders yet?
Hey There
Great story.. thanks for posting it. i had mine last wednesday also at Highgate in london and had a really great experince. I was up a few hours afterwards and home the same night. For anyone thinking of doing ady case I can only say I had no problems and the staff were really great at highgate. % days in and Im still locked up hiding in the house in my jammies! trusssed up with lots of surgeons tape feeling abit lkike a blow up doll! and with increasingly messy hair! Think i might have to go and venture to the hair salon tomorrow as its awful!Would be interested to hear if you got a sore upper back at all as I am getting really stiff in the shoulder blade area which I think is probably the muscles adjusting to these new whammers stuck out in front of me ! plus the sleeping on your back all the time but its a bit uncomfortable. Also feels a bit wierd trying to pull your shoulders back from this grandma like hunched over look that Ive adopted! My lovely BF keeps laughing at me walking around whilst cradling the new jewels!Any tips ladies- is this stiff sore shoulder experince normal and does it get looser at all? Lovely to hear your story and hope your recovery keeps going well Welsh girl x |

Hi, I also had my new boobies done at Highgate, with Dr Rezai, I stayed in for one night and also had a very good experience with them and great after care.
You do get use to sleeping on your back, I am 3 weeks post op today and even though I don't need to anymore I still find myself sleeping this way!!! The worse thing for me was the band, such a relief when it goes. I am now back to work, my recovery has been quick and with no complications and they have softened up so well, starting to get movement, the best thing of all is that they now are starting to look like real boobs, really natural and even feel like real boobs. I wish you all well with your recovery, Di X |

Recovery still going well
hi all - just thought i would update my story - recovery still going well - went last friday to have stitches (which were dissovable) checked out and they have healed well. Am now able to sleep without bra on but haven't as yet cos it feels kind of weird without bra on. Every day my boobs have felt better and better and changing all the time.
I haven't had any chest or back pain and I didn't have a strap (maybe because mind weren't under the muscle?). Still can't wait to sleep on my front though - I think a lot of my tiredness has been due to the fact that I don't sleep properly on my back. Have just measured size and I am coming out at a D - my size has not changed much since the operation - I didn't have much swelling or bruising post op and I did take arnica tablets for two weeks prior to surgery so maybe they helped. My boobies continue to look natural and I just feel like they should always have been there! no regrets what so ever - just maybe why did I wait so long to have the ba? Thanks to everyone who has posted thanks and supportive messages to me - I have enjoyed reading them and I hope I have answered your quereies in this reply. Good luck to all you pre and post-opers xxx |
