Yay, the time has finally came. I have boobies

now. I can't believe it, lmao! Okay, so here's my story...

I went in around 3 pm and I was nervous as hell. I was pacing back in forth in the office and my teeth started to jitter. I was fine all day not really nervous, just excited. But I guess when you get to the office you know it's really happening now. Next thing you know, they called my name. I was like, great no turning back now. I still couldn't for some reason believe that I was going to get a BA done. Normal or what? They took me to the back to change then they took me to this room where my husband was waiting for me. They took my blood pressure, of course it was high. What a surprise, lol. They said it was normal though because I was nervous. So they gave me this pill to take with some sort of drink (that didn't taste good at all). I'm not exactly sure but I think the nurse mentioned it was for my blood pressure.The nurse had also mentioned that it would take about 30 min. until the PS and Anesthesiologist would come in because their finishing up the patient before me. Grreeeeaaat, I had to sit and wait again. Mind you, I was waiting for my BA the whole day until 3 pm. I was getting a little anxious I must say. So meanwhile, I knocked out on the seat and woke up to someone who was knocking on the door. It was my PS seeing how I was doing. He asked me to get up so he can mark me and I stood up and all of the sudden I started to get dizzy so I sat back down. I had to tell him that I couldn't get up at the moment because I'm feeling dizzy. I asked him is it because of what the nurse gave me a 1/2 hour ago, and he said yes. Plus, I haven't ate anything since 10 last night so that could be another reason. So I sat there for about 2 min. and I told him I was okay and I can stand up now. He marked me, we talked about the size and that was that. He said that the Anesthesiologist will come in and have a talk with me and he'll meet me in the Surgery center (which was like not even a min. walk away). Anesthesiologist came in and he asked me a lot of questions and said he was going to put the ivy in me. I said no, put it on me when I'm laying down because I hate needles for one and I don't want to look at it sitting on this chair. Yes, I know I sound like a whimp. So he said okay. As he was leaving the room he asked me what kind of music I like, ""I said I'm not picky but just no country, why?" He said just wanted to know, then I said relaxing music , Nora Jones. And he said okay. So 2 min. later the nurse came back and she took me back to the Surgery Center. She told my hubby that he could only walk me up to the door. So we kissed and he said he'll be right here waiting for me when I get out. I almost balled my eyes out. This was it I was telling myself. I went into the room and they were blasting Nora Jones, I started to crack up. They laid me on this warm bed with leg massager's, and I felt great I tell you. I wasn't worried anymore just excited. I couldn't wait to see my new boobies. So anyway, the Dr. put the IV in and asked me what type of vacation would I like to go on. I told him that I was going on vacation next month and I'm excited and next thing you know I was OUT.

I woke up and I said to the nurse, "that's it? I'm all done?" She said yes. You were great. The Dr. and PS came to talk to me but I'm not sure about what. That's why my husband was there, I guess. lol. They spoke to us, mostly him 'cause I was out of it. My PS said he'll see me Friday and I said okay. When they left I asked the nurse if I can see my boobs. She said sure. OMG ladies they look good. I'm not trying to sound conceited but I love them.
I'll put pictures up once I can make an album.

I left the hospital around 8'ish and I got home and I was already walking around like noting ever happened. My husband was asking me, "aren't you in pain, shouldn't you lay down?". I said to him that I feel fine and I was out n about. I didn't feel pain but I felt like I worked out my chest for gazillion hours at the gym. I was so surprised that I wasn't grouchy or anything along those lines. I went to be around 12 because I kept looking at my chest in the mirror and I kept saying "WOW they look good. I can't wait to go SHOPPING". lol. My husband took a look at my chest and said "Okay, I think I'm a boob guy now" ahahahaha.

I slept okay. I was up and out for the most part. That's because I had to use the bathroom and I needed help to get in and out of bed. But other than that, I' was pretty good.

Today I woke up my normal time, 7 am. I wasn't in pain again, just my chest was uncomfortable. I was saying to myself, this can't be real. I can't be sitting here on this bed right after surgery and not be in pain. OMG I love it! All this time I was sitting here telling most of you that I'm scared, etc., etc. and it was a piece of cake. Well not really but you know what I mean. To be honest with you, contractions are waaaaaaaay worse than this. I mean damn, I was asking for drugs dilated to 6. ahahaha. I'm taking this pretty well. I'm so proud of myself. So is my husband. He was telling me yesterday on the way to the hospital, you're going to be all groggy when you get home, and you're gonna want to be in bed all week, etc., etc. You know how husband's are...and now look. I'm up walking around. ahaha. He can't believe it either...I love it!! I walk a little crouched over but I think that's normal, right?

But now..

There's my story. I just wanted to let you guys know how I'm doing since some of you wanted me to keep you updated...

I also want to thank you guys for supporting me through this process. I love that people on this site are concerned and also very, very supportive. We haven't all met except via internet yet we are still there for each other. I love it! Thank you so much guys!!

We should all get together and celebrate our "new editions" lol.

Oh yeah! I am so happy for you and so very proud of you! You did it and You got them! Woohoo!

I will probably cry too when they tell me I'll see my husband after the surgery. He is my Rock and we do everything thing together. Uh oh.

I was laughing when your hubby said, ok, I think I'm a boob guy now. When I tell him, oh babe, you're gonna have so much fun and he says, well, I'm gonna have just as much fun because I love you, I love who you are, it's what is inside that counts. But I promise he will say exactly what your hubby said. hehehe....

So no pain huh!? I hope I'm like you! That is what I'm most afraid of.

I am so glad to hear that the recovery wasn't worse that childbirth!!! That has made me feel so much better about my BA. I had natural childbirth twice...once at home...so it sounds like if i can handle this then I can handle the BA. Thanks for being so inspirational!!!

Congrats! I too was suprised at the pain. I rated it as a 2/10 and I agree contractions are way worse (have 2 children natural & 2 w/ epidurals).

Isn't it crazy how having kids is the worse pain ever. So far for me though. I guess when people say you had kids, so this should be a piece of cake..I guess they were not joking. How are you doing by the way? Did your swelling go down?
