Congratulations! I met with one of the PS you had do your surgery. Can I ask was there a discount for going with a teaching hospital and having students watch? The cost of BAs in the Boston area are pretty high (I am on the cape) Hope you have an easy recovery!

Congratulations to you! Wow at BA and TT at the same time -- ouch! I am glad that you mentioned the water. I had read that it was good to drink plenty before surgery and I haven't been doing that. My BA is in five days so I think I need to drink up and stay hydrated.
I hope the pain is easing up more.

Hi Vadreamer- Yes! There is a HUGE discount going to a teaching hospital. About a 10,000 discount. For my TT, Breast Aug/lift, areola reduction and lots of lipo my grand total was 8990.00. I also had to stay in the hospital overnight. But I did have to be in a group of students at just about every appt. and during surgery but it was worth it. I am a nurse and I know how it feels to be a student so I got over it pretty quick. My cheeks were always pink, lol! I just kept thinking that there is alot worse out there and this is what there in school for. The doctor that I had..Dr. Del Vecchio is absolutely amazing! He assisted with the PS that was doing my surgery primarily but I think he did most of it, lol! I say that because he checked on my in the am and told me I would be very happy with all the work he had done!!!! I am so greatful because I don't think I could of paid for it at full price. They don't advertise..someone had told me about it. I was in one of the best hospitals in the world so I felt like I was in good hands...we will see!
![]() Melissa- Thank you! Yes, everything at once! I didn't have the time or money to do it seperate..the boobs feel like a scratch in comparison to my TT and lipo..and that's with a lift and areola reduction along with it! |

Thanks Itybity! The thing that saves me is that if I'm not moving there really isn't much pain, really! If it was constant I probably would want to jump off a bridge, lol! Then again..i'm lucky I can get to the bathroom nevermind a bridge, Ha! The back is the worst from hunching over..someone had suggested a walker..I wish I had one now! It really would have helped!

I don't blame you at all. I am getting an areola setback so it's nice to hear that it isn't so bad. I'm a bit nervous, lol.

Hi Melissa! I know pain is different for everyone so I don't know how you are going to feel but it seems from what I have read I have noticed a few things. First- the bigger the implant- the more discomfort (makes sense) so if you're going a couple sizes bigger you should be fine..again, just my opinion! It also seems most girls on this site are getting right back into the swing of things soon after! I can tell you that if I just had my boobs done I would already be out shopping!
But my breasts were pretty stretched out prior so that could make a difference too, but maybe not! I did go under the muscle so maybe that doesn't matter. But I'm sure you will do great! The areola/nipple kind of lose sensation so I don't really feel any pain there as well! Good luck!!!

Thanks Dream Weaver & Russiansfinest! I am pretty much bound to my recliner..short slow hunched over trips here and there. But it is getting better each day! Thank goodness for this site! It really is therapy to have all of you to talk too, especially when you're recovering!
I look at my body and I immediately know it was all worth it! Things look better by the day! I had a lot done..so every little bit that heals really gives me hope!!!! Today I'm a little more sore..it seems some of the numbness must have subsided in certain areas because I feel them now, lol!!! Thanks for asking!!!!!

Hi MorningGlory, I got your message on my page, but unfortunately, can't reply there... so I'm replying here! Thanks for your message. And, to you answer your question, I'm LOVING my new girl friends. They're a bit sore, but totally manageable. I've backed off the pain meds and muscle relaxers... keeping up on the antibiotics, though, of course. I already love my new look and I am excited to know it's only going to get better!! So thankful for braving the procedure and finding the right doctor. Absolutely and completely feeling great. Thanks for reaching out and checking in... let's stay in touch!

Lapaki- Thank you! Feels likes a quadruple procedure, lol! I underestimated the pain involved with lipo and focused all my research on the breast aug/lift & TT! I know now that lipo is a major procedure itself!
I was confused about why I was having certain pain and I noted areas on my back covered with tegaderm and sutures..hmmmm, the lipo!!! As I started reading more about it (a little late) it really is a big procedure! But thank you for the credit! Check out my pics and let me know what you think! ![]() Dream Weaver! I am so glad you are happy with your new "girlfriends"! I know the feeling. From the time I had my daughter at 19 I have hidden my body. My breasts were so stretched out and saggy as was my belly. I even dated men much older than I because 1) I had a daughter 2) I felt my body was like that of a much older woman. I look back and it is sad that I felt this way but I was young and my body pretty much determined the men I felt I had to meet/date (young & foolish) A story for another day. Now I look at my body and I feel so confidant...I wish I had done it sooner, but I didn't! Oh well!!! I am so happy! I think these changes go much deeper than the surface for most of the girls here......lets definitely keep in touch! I think all the girls here are great and I wish I could talk with everyone!!!!
