Had my BA performed yesterday @ 1pm. The nurses were great and very gentle. Took three tries for them to get my IV in which wasn't very pleasant, but I hung in there (HATE HATE HATE needles)! I spoke with my doctor before I was moved to the operating room about the type of implants (last minute decision alright). I'm 5'9", 120 lbs and I was worried about rippling that could result from the saline implants. However my mom and fiancee were both wanting me to have the saline. Dr. Love (wonderful doctor!) said he'd only had one patient in 8 years have her breasts redone due to the rippling. So he thought I'd be fine w/ the saline and that's what we did. I had 465ccs in the left and 450ccs in the right (hoping for a 34D). Pre-BA i was a 34A. When they took me back to the operating room, all I remember is being placed on the operating room bed and then waking in recovery. I was shaking considerably when I came out of the anesthesia, so I was given a couple of doses of demerol. I was not in any pain when I came out of recovery (probably from all the drugs). I came home and dozed off for a bit. When I woke up I was in pain and quite a bit of discomfort. My fiancee kept ice on me and has been giving me my pain pills and flexeril every 4-6 hours. I've been having a hard time getting out of bed and have finally resigned myself to sitting up in bed rather than reclining a bit. I think sitting up really helps with the pain. My implants are quite high and look a bit alien right now, which I understand is completely normal. I'm hoping I've been through the worst of the pain already. I don't believe I'm able to upload pics just yet due to my member status. But I definitely will as soon as I'm able. This forum has been extremely helpful to me. I love to read about everyone's experiences. All in all I think my surgery went well. I thank everyone for sharing their stories and hope that I can help anyone/everyone in return. congrats on your newbies! I just had mine done on 11/19. Wow the first 2 days were bad for me. But its true that it gets better!!!I actually have plans to go to the movies tonight. I'll be sitting up so I dont think that it'll be that bad.Good luck on your recovery!!!

Thanks to all of you for your encouragement! I'm now on day three and feel much better than the first couple of days (knock on wood). I can't wait to see my new boobies drop! I also cannot wait to begin exercising again. Off to an early Thanksgiving dinner with friends tonight - I sooo cannot wait to get out of the house. Beginning to get cabin fever!
