Bye Bye BooBoos!
I had my surgery on Nov.28, here's my story.
Ever since I was in my teens I knew I wanted bigger boobs, I also felt like they were never quite right, like they needed to finish growing. High school came and went and still no change. I just figured all the boobs that I was seeing on tv were fake and therefore my shape was perfectly normal. I remember the bf I dated all through high school would never take my bra off when we were together, if I tried to take it off he would tell me I was sexier with it on. I assumed it was because they were tiny. No one since him has ever said or done anything to make me feel awkward, but I still wasn't completely satisfied that they were normal. Fast forward almost 3 years, my mum confesses to me that she has had implants since she was 22. There goes my dream of having a nice C-cup after babies! I told her that I was considering surgery and she was all for it. I took the big leap and booked my first consult with Dr. Mehling. The consult went wonderful! His staff were amazing as well. He told me that I had a moderate case of tuberous deformity. Finally, an explanation for everything! He explained that although I was a good candidate for BA, I should not expect typical results as I would still retain some of my shape due to the deformity, and could not go very larger for the same reason. I was just thrilled that there was someone out there that could help! My mum and I broke it to my dad, and he felt really bad that I was the way I was, he offered to foot the bill. I agreed that him and mum could pay for half, in my mind it wasn't a necessary thing, I would be fine if I'd have to wait until I had money of my own to pay for it. I booked my surgery at my next appointment. My bf of 2 years came over the night before my BA and we took the last known pictures of my "booboos". He gave them this nickname after I started talking to him about having surgery, it's just a little inside joke between the two of us...he'll need to find a new nickname for them now! ![]() Friday morning came so fast, everything happened so quickly at the surgical center that it didn't even really sink in. I got changed into the robe, and even got to keep my undies and socks on . Then Dr.Mehling came in and marked me up. he told me to have a nice sleep and that he would see me on monday. Then a nurse took me into the operating room and got me to lay on the table, I took my arms out of the gown but I was never exposed while still awake. The anesthesiologist painlessly put in my IV and told me my face would start to tingle and I would taste something funny, this is the last thing I can remember.I woke up in the recovery room and the first thing I remember saying to the nurse was "Do I have them?" she said "Breasts you mean? Yes you have them". I couldn't see straight for about a half hour or so, then the nurses dressed me and got me into a wheelchair. I was really upset by this point, I remember shaking and crying because I thought I was going to throw up. My mum said I got mad at her for driving the wrong way home, I don't remember this. Day one was a blur, the meds knocked me out pretty good. I looked in the mirror at my new boobs and was kind of scared as they were so swollen, even my nipples were puffed out and rock hard, they were HUGE! Day two was kinda fuzzy aswell, I coudnt get out of my recliner my self. That morning I woke up feeling really sick to my stomach, thank goodness my mum was sleeping on the couch across from me. I threw up, a lot, we think it was form the percocet so I stopped taking them and havn't had any problems since. It's now day three and I've been up and about the house just fine. I had my first pre-op appointment and apparently I'm healing very well. I went shopping for a different bra afterwards and had no problems filling up 34D's! No luck on finding a good sports bra though, none of the stores had C's or D's with clasps on them in band sizes smaller than 36, come on now! Anyways, I'm so happy I went through with this! I can't wait for the months to roll past and see all the changes that will happen ![]() I have some pics in my albums, just send a friend request

I had tuberous breast deformity too and I know exactly that feeling that your boobs just aren't quite right. Finally feeling like a woman is such an awesome feeling. You look great!!!

Thanks for sharing your great story. Ya know...my mom did the same thing and finally told me that she had a BA, only after I brought up the idea of getting one myself. So I can totally relate. I grew up just waiting for my boobs to look like my moms! lol
Enjoy the new set!

congratulations on the great experience. Everyone keep the good stories coming! They are just nice to read up on. The throwing up part sounded quite bothersome though. It just makes you crazy, but I'm glad you got through it.
