BOOBS IN!!! Yucky stuff OUT!!!

First I want to thank JBI and all the lovely ladies who I have learned so much from! It has helped so much knowing that all the twinges, pangs and tightness is normal!

I have wanted new boobies forever! i nursed 2 babies and LOVED the way I looked when I had big ones! After the birth of my first baby I also started getting fibroids in my uterus. Thru the years my wanting new boobs grew and grew as well as my fibroids. My ex husband was always like -" what do you need new boobs for?!?! YOUR a MOM!" WTF?!? soooo finally I divorced him and found the love of my life - who was yea lets get new boobs!!! I started having severe problems with my periods and talked to my OBGYN about the possibility of having a dual surgery for a hysterectomy and breast augmentation he was very supportive and was like you go girl! THE problem is I do not live in an area with a plastic surgeon - without having to travel some distance - AND I really like my OBGYN so what was I gonna do?!?!?! I REALLY only wanted ONE recovery.... in November I scheduled an appt with my OBGYN again to discuss having a hysterectomy - I was over it - get it out! I asked him again about a breast augmentation and he looked at me and said - we have an amazing PS that is coming over from Seattle once a month - when do you want to have surgery? I told him January - he went out into the hall and made my consultation appt!!!! I went to my consultation - really liked my PS and made a surgery date!

Jan 23 was my big day!!! I got to the hospital at 5:30 - got hooked up to my IV's - started all the drips - I felt REALLY calm - I was so ready for BOTH surgeries! I was so tired from not sleeping the night before I think I started to dose off - I don't remember being wheeled away or anything - I asked my husband if I said anything funny - and he just started laughing - he told me I kept yelling - fill em up as big as you can!!!
The next thing I remember was waking up in the recovery room - ( I was dreaming about boobs!) putting my hands on my chest - saying I have boobies! My PS was the first person I saw - I couldn't see my husband til I was in my room - I was sooo happy I had new boobs, had my hysterectomy done vaginally (yeah for no incision!) I spent one night at the hospital and have been pretty out of it since! LOTS of sleeping. NO appetite, a little nasuea... My husband has been treating me like a princess... my teenage kids have been good... I am happy. If I had to do it all again - I would do it exactly the same.

I got 400 cc's HP mentor saline unders - he said that was as full as he could go - and I think they are perfect! I don't have any bruising! My insicion is transax...and I love em!!!

I am so happy for you! I know from personal experience with female probs (yes at such as young age & no children) that you will not be in any pain like before & so happy with your body. I wish you the best of luck with recovery of both & just know that we are here to support you!

Yay! So glad to read your story! I wish I could have a historectomy... That's awesome that they can take it out vaginaly, makes you wonder how they figured that out, lol! I'm sure you're going to look great! yay for the boobies you always wanted and no more periods! Happy healing girl!

total surgery time was 2 hours! An hour and half for the hyster and 35 minutes for the breast augmentation...

funny thing is, except for tummy bloat , my boobs hurt the most!
