I loved reading your story. My breast augmentation is coming up very soon. Reading your experience has helped me very much with understanding how I will feel. I am not being put to sleep so luckily I will not have to deal with the groggy sleep factor. Thanks again.... |

Thanks for sharing your story.. I'm having mixed feelings about my results.. I am actually feeling the opposite of what you were.. I feel that I'm too small! I wouldn't call it boobie greed, but I came in wanting to be a FULL C.. they picked the cc's cuz' I know nothing about that. I know its still way to early, but right now, I'm a Full B maybe a baby C? I honestly don't think I'll grow anymore. My PS says I may be "shaplier" but not bigger.. I'm so tempted to get a re-do but not sure if I'm just being impatient. I know I'm supposed to be tight and swollen, but small too? I'm soo depressed today!

Wow, that is just so strange that you aren't a full C, being that you went with almost 400cc's. The general rule is 200ccs equal one full cup size. I went 425, and I ended up bigger than I had thought I would, which is a full D. I wish I could tell you that you'll get bigger, but I just don't know. It doesn't make any sense! I'm so sorry to hear that you are not happy with your results. If you do consider a redo, I would definitely give it some time to heal and really see the end results before you make any decisions. Maybe your feelings will change with time...I know I went back and forth with loving mine and hating them almost every other week. I also felt they were too small at first. Hang in there girl...I really hope everything works out for you. *hugs* Manda | |

![]() | 14-Week Update
Helllooooo Ladies!! It has been a while since I've updated, but since I had some spare time, I figured no better time than now. There have been a few changes here and there, but for the most part, things are the same as my last update. As far as recovery, there is absolutely no more pain. There is still a little bit of soreness here and there, and when my boyfriend squeezes them, he has to do it gently because I still feel like they are really sensitive. I haven't lost sensation at all, which I am so thankful for, but at the same time, they definitely don't feel like they did before. Though I can feel touch on my breasts and nipples, it is not the same sensation as before breast augmentation. It's not bad, it's just not really the same. I think a lot of it has to do with my still being nervous of handling them roughly. I have been using the Medscar on the scars (crease), and they just continue to improve every day. I really want them to just disappear, but they are still visible and probably will be for at least a year. At least they don't itch anymore!! I have to put zinc oil (the stuff surfers wear for sun block) on the scars anytime I am in a bikini in the sun to fully protect them from sun damage. Sun rays can go right through your bikini, so always make sure to have your scars fully protected. I continue to do my massages, although I have really slacked on them. I used to do it 3 times a day, and now I do it maybe 3 times a week. EEEK!! My doctor told me in my last checkup to continue doing them EVERY DAY!! But it's easy to forget when you become so used to your boobs that you don't even notice them anymore. I have to get my butt in gear on that. LOL. I DO notice that they have definitely dropped and fluffed even more than the last pictures I've posted, so I will get some new pictures posted up. I LOOOOOVE them so much! My boyfriend jokes with me that I love them more than I love him. My morning routine used to consist of showering, getting dressed, and THEN doing my hair and makeup. Now I shower, and do hair and makeup before getting dressed so I can look at them all morning. HA HA! My boyfriend thinks I'm hilarious. I am still wearing a very supportive bra during the day. My doctor recommended you wear a supportive bra 24/7 for the first year, however, I just cannot sleep with a bra on when I've been wearing one ALL day, so I will usually put on a sports bra to sleep in at night. I've also been running a lot and I haven't experienced any issues. I also do body pump class and I just keep my weights light. I'm slowly building up, but when it comes to the chest exercises, I will just keep them light. I don't think it matters to work out my chest anymore, ha ha! I've finally started to wear more cleavage revealing tops when I go out. At first I was quite self-conscious about it, but now I just love the way they look in sexy tops. But one thing I don't really like is that I'm always nipping out so I hate wearing tops without a bra. I've heard people say that it's normal to have you nipples erect pretty much all the time after breast augmentation, but it's really quite annoying. Does anyone else have this problem?? Alright ladies, I promise I'll get some updated pictures up there soon. I hope everyone is having a great recovery! Happy healing to all! Mandi |

Thanks for sharing your story girly! i'm 5 days post op and i was really nauseous after surgery as well. They had to give me phenergan before they released me.....i was pretty good after that.....besides the constipation!!! it's was like 3.5 days it sucked and it hurt. ugggh i didn't take a laxative but ducolax. It's still been painful, but getting easier now.....my DH has this tea said will help.....i just don't want to be bombing the place! lol. The only other things is on day 3-4 i got these sharp shooting pains in my right breast which i heard is normal nerve pain. But they sucked today they are alot better and barely have any pain at all on day 5 off the pain meds didn't really need them yesterday and only took one a night. I'm glad your doing so well and happy with your size i'm hoping for a D cup AT LEAST! can't wait for these babies to D&F. I have some pix if you want to check em out.....it is private so just send a FR and i'll happily accept

![]() | Thank you for your story!
Thank you for your story. I just had my operation 13 days ago. It was really helpful to me. I know how you feel about worrying about the size. I do think it takes a little time to see a final result, but it is hard to be patient. I just had a revision. I had captular contracture. Mine were 15 years old..I also breast fed. It was time for the removal. I had mine placed under my the muscle this time. It is a little more painful at first. I am very glad I did it this way. I wonder if it takes a little longer to see the true size when the implant is placed this way? Thank you for your great story and I am glad you are happier with the size now. |

Thank you for your story! I really enjoyed reading it, I am 2 weeks post op today and was hoping for the 3 week go ahead next week for getting back running, but my Dr. said not until at least another 3 weeks from now. I am losing my mind and my fitness! When did you start running again? And how rough was it to restart? I ran a 1/2 4 days before surgery, so I had been training 25-30 miles a week, now nada! Thanks for the info!
