The Bold and the Beau(tit)fuls!!!

Well ladies, here is my story from start to finish!!

Yesterday was my big day..The day of reckoning.. My pre-op was scheduled on Thursday, April 2. It was my 2nd consultation with 2 diff doctors and when I went to this doctor, I knew he was the one. By the end of the consul, I was scheduled for my breast augmentation and given my RX's. I was scheduled for the following Tuesday, April 7 and was thrilled!

The day before my breast augmentation I started to take my antibiotics as well as Arnica and Bromelain.

Then came the day of reckoning, I was supposed to be there at 12 noon but found myself running late because my pregnant sister had a Docs appointment at 10 and wasnt through until 1130 so we had to fly half way across town to make it on time. Meanwhile she got hungry and wanted to stop at Culvers for a burger and shake. (OMG r u serious?) When we finally pulled in the lot the receptionist was calling me, I ignored the call and ran through the doors and announced "Im here finally!" All the while giving my sis the look of evil!

They bought me straight to the back and asked me to undress and put on my paper lingerie (LOL). The doctor came in and painted on me with his magic marker and I was off. I went in to a room that looked somewhat like a dentist office and layed back while the inserted the IV and sleepy medicine. Before I was out I remember the PS making a joke about my veins that had me tears. I also heard "Killing Me Softly" by Lauren Hill and started to have second thoughts but before I could object, I was out like a light. I woke up halfway through the procedure and couldnt feel a thing. I chit-chatted with the nurse and the PS about how everthing was going and we cracked some more jokes..It was actually very cool! The sat me up and placed bandages across me and took me into one of their secluded recovery rooms where my sister was eating AGAIN!!! I layed there for about 30 min and laughed with the nurses for a while and I got dress and was off. On the way home the pain started to settle in and I became very aggrivated. My Sis stopped at Mcdonalds and I ordered a chicken taco w/ no onions...Oops! its Mcdonalds, not BaBa'a! By the time we got home and out the car I pucked everything up. I got in and took my meds and was in and out for the rest of the night. The pain was at times unbelievable but surely if you stay on the meds like your supposed to it will be ok. I was high for most of the night from the Valium and Codine. My Sisters recorded it and said they are gonna put it on You-Tube!! (so mean)

My Post-op was today and the PS says the everything look great! I was able to have the bandages taken off and my sports bra was placed on. Ill be going back next week to have to surgical tape removed and start the massages.

Well, this is just Day 1 and I feel good. Other than a few aches and tightness I am alright. I peeked at my ladies and I am happy. I went with 325cc silicone w/ crease incision. That should take me to a full B very small C. Ill be posting before and after pic shorlty. And oh, I'm off the codine, ill just take Tylenol and Valium for the tightness along with my antibiotics, arnica, and Bromelain.

I hope my story helps someone through their recovery and or pre-op. Sorry it soooo long!!

Congrats!! What is up with your sister eating so much? I am curious to know what made you up chuck? and how long was it before you were able to hold down food?

Thanks ladies on all of your encouragements. And yes, my sis does eat ALOT!! She's due in August. I am feeling very well today. I'm on my feet and walking. It took me a few hours to finally eat and hold it down on the first day. Thanks again for your support!!

Congrats on your new girls! And I am glad you had such a great experience. Well minus your pregnant sister making you late, and eating so much! Oh, and then there was the puking part! Ok..so mostly great experience!!! Good luck in the rest of your recovery process!!!

Hang on, you woke up half way through? I've never heard of that before, how come?

To Hmmm.
I did wake up b4 they were finished bc the meds wore off early. It was no biggie bc I couldnt feel a thing and he was stitching me up. Kinda weird huh?
