I finally entered into Boobieland :)

Well since I live in Philly but my doctor is in Miami, Florida my journey started on Wednesday afternoon. My flight was suppose to be at 5.35pm, however due to mechanical problems and the plane being put out of commission, we ended up with a 5 hour delay....great way to start the process. So I finally reach Miami at about 1.30am.

My preop appointment was for 9.30am, the nurse drew my blood, and I had to pee in the cup for them to run the pregnancy test. I waited around, filled out paper work, paid off the rest of my balance and then the doctor came it. Time to try on sizers. When I first consulted with him, he recommended 350CCs through the areola. However since then, I have lost about 15 pounds, so he said 350's would be too big and since I wanted a conservative look he said 250CCs were a better suit for my body size, but i urged him to go with 300ccs instead so that I wouldn't get boobie greed. Also, I guess because of my weight loss, he said he would now be able to go through my armpit, which I was super excited about. I didnt want to have any scars on my breasts at all. I was so excited I forgot to ask him all the preop questions that I had. It wasnt until I left that I was starting to freak out about it. But I just let it go. To be honest I was more nervous about the fact that I wasnt nervous about surgery. I was really calm.

Now it was surgery date and my surgery time was set for 11am. I got there well in advance, at about 9.30am. At around 10am, the nurse came in and took a bunch of pictures for my file, and then my PS came in and drew a few lines on me and we once again confirmed sized and last minute details and I placed the robe back on. At about 10.30 the anesthesiologist came it to put the IV in to get me prepared for surgery, and it wasn't till then that I started to get REALLY nervous, and a bunch of thoughts starting rushing through my head. So since i am petite, it was really hard for them to find a spot to place the IV, so they had to use the same spot as they did the day before to draw my blood. So they had to use an IV extension on me, so after putting in the needle, alot of blood came gushing out and spilled on my arm and the chair....at this point I immediately became soooo nauseous....i think they could tell by my face so they had me lie down and take deep breaths which made me feel alot better. Soon after that I was brought to the OR....I remember breathing into the oxygen mask, and then waking up in the recovery room.

I wish I was one of those lucky ones whose pain was a 2 or 3, but i was in excruciating pain....it was horrible. The strap they put on me was sooooo tight that it was digging into my sutures, i was having back and side pain. I could sleep. I never realized how difficult it was to sleep on my back. But i eventually got the knack of it and once the pain meds started to take effect, and i loosened the strap, i felt MUCH better. I have to say, for the first day out, I think my new additions look amazing for just getting done. They are a bit high, but they don't have a weird shape or anything.

Now its the day after surgery, and i started having the side and back pain again since i put the strap on super tight when i went to bed. But I just loosened it, so I feel better. I have been dozing in and out of sleep. But I definitely feel a lot better today than i did yesterday. Well my post op appointment is on Tuesday and I am heading back to philly on tuesday also. I hope I feel good enough for work on wednesday. Luckily, I have an office job, so it doesnt require much movement and strain. So I should be okay.

I just want to say thanks to all the JBI women for your understanding and support. It has been greatly appreciated. I am about to pass out. So I will be back on later.

What was your original size? i also want to do a 250ccs but im not sure if i should do 225.iam a 32 AA

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all your support and understanding.

To pinklovely....I was originally a 34A/32B I would say depending on the bra and I got 300CCs, I am hoping to be a 34C at the end of it.
