Hi everyone! I am feeling pretty great! I went in to see my PS today and she said that I am healing perfectly. I can't believe how great the incision looks! She wants me to start pushing my boobs together at least twice per day. Thankfully, she said that as the swelling goes down, they will get bigger! YAY! Overall, all of my paranoia has been just that. I go back to work tomorrow so I am glad I am feeling good. I really have to start working on my posture!!! I will post some more post-op photos later today! -A |

Hey Everyone, So far so good. I think I am a little down about my new boobies these days. I feel like they are shrinking or like I wont get to my target size of 34 D or bigger. I know this is likely just a case of the post op boobie blues but the feelings are still there. I am even having a hard time shopping for bras and tops because I feel like I look the same only without having to wear a padded bra. I am sure being confined to the tight ass bra lends to that but I do feel like I am not as big as I would like. I go tomorrow to get my stitches out and will not have to wear the stupid sport's bra anymore. It's making my nipples hurt!! Pics are posted and I will update as my experiences update. |

awww... sorry you're feeling so down! I understand you're feelings about being unsure about your final size. They weren't kidding when they say you really have to wait to see your final size. When I punch in my stats on those online bra size calculators..... do you know what I get??? 36B!!!!... so obviously its waaay to early to start worrying. Sending you a big gentle *side hug*.... hope you start feeling better soon. |

Hey babe, I feel ya. I thought the waiting game to go in and get my boobies was excruciating- but it was NOTHING compared to playing the game waiting to see what the final result will be. I go thru 20 to 30 minutes of loving them, and then wham- I spend the next hour obsessing about how they are too big, too small, not going to drop even. Obsessing how sore and out of sorts I feel, how easily I tire, Then like the flip of a switch I'm back to adoring them and the idea of amazing they are going to look in the end and how HOT I'm gonna be in all those clothes that never did much for me. UGH I'm crazier than usual going thru all this ![]() Yesterday I rummaged thru my closet for all the sexiest clothes I could find, and when I found the hot little Dorothy costume I've worn for Halloween the past couple of years, never filling out the top of course, and tried it on, I skyrocketed to wonderland- I have BOOBS!!!! And even in my way to high up and hard and left lower than right look my boobs are sporting right now- I looked GOOD!!! Anyway, I checked out your pics and in my inexperienced opinion, you look like the swelling has gone down some, probably why you feel smaller, but you have ALOT of dropping to do- they are way high and you can see how much is sitting up there that is going to come down and fill out- I think they are going to look fabulous! And so we sit on our hands and wait- and wait, and we get to tell each other how hard it is to sit and wait and get to hear- I'm right there with ya babe- we'll get there! |

Thanks Ladies! I am feeling better today. I went in today and had my sutures removed. This was amazingly easy. I am so shocked at how good my incisions look! I was prepared for a lot of tugging and snipping for the sutures but they just pulled the "whiskers" up and snipped below the little knot. End of that. It was quick and painless. She said I still have a lot of swelling in the middle (sternum area) and lots of dropping to do. The best part of the day- I looked at my before photo taken at the PS's office. WOW!! It made me feel tons better. I know I will have my ups and downs and will have to remember that before picture so I don't get too down. More photos will be up tonight to show my incisions. |

Cool! Sounds like the stitch removal was a breeze. But I'm a little confused.... are you then suppose to pull them out yourself? Sorry I know I'm probably asking a dumb question.... guess I don't understand how the stitches work.... |

![]() | Almost 1 month Post Op
Well, this journey of boobies has been worth every twinge of pain so far. My nipples are still fairly sensitive but much less over the last week. I am FINALLY sleeping on my side- but not to the point of total comfort yet. A weekend visit from my wonderful BF helped with that! I went to Nordstrom today and got fitted. It appears I have a 32 band not a 34 but was told I could wear the 34 because it may be more comfortable. I was shocked to find out that I am officially a 32DD! Holy Crap!!! ![]() So, I am preparing to get myself some new bras over the next month or so. I have been being patient and trying to wait until I had D&F'd to a point of being "almost done" but my patience is wearing thin. I figure if I D&F and grow some more, it will just give me a reason to go buy some more bras!!! My incision is almost invisible at this point which makes me very happy. My soreness is totally manageable and the nipples of satan seem to be easing up some. Lefty is still a little smaller than righty but doesn't look really any higher. For the next few weeks, my focus will be RELAXATION. I will be at the beach in Charleston in a couple of weeks right before I start law school so that should provide a great time to chill before buckling down to get work done!! WISH ME LUCK!!!!

![]() | 3 Months Out
Hey All, It's been awhile since I have updated my story. To make it short, I started to notice that my lefty was not d&f'ing as nicely as my righty. My right is PERFECT and while the left is close to it, I can notice the difference. I think a few of the photos I still have posted show the difference too. Well, I had an appointment last week ( on my b-day nonetheless) and the PS determined that I have early onset of CC. This sucks! I have to start taking Vit.E and Accolate. At first, I thought I was going to have to pay cash for the Accolate but when the pharmacy ran my insurance- it was covered 100% with no co-pay!! So, while it sucks to have early CC, at least I can take the non surgical route to try to prevent it from getting worse and even maybe get it to where you can't notice at all. I can be thankful we caught it early too. It just sucks that I paid so much money and still can't have perfect breasts. Honestly though, I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Overall, I love my boobies!!! I will be uploading some new photos today to show the difference. xoxo A |

Hey there AtoD! I was just catching up on your story, and I'm sorry to hear about your CC, such a bummer. But like you said, at least you caught it early and can hopefully take care of it non-surgically. Can I ask--did your PS recommend massage? If so, how long did you do it? Just curious as my PS didn't say too much about massage (I have unders) but I wasn't sure if that will prevent CC or not. Thanks! FR sent!
