My plastic surgeon did not instruct to massage post op. Now that I have early CC- vigorous massage to that breast is a part of my CC treatment.

I look at it this way- even without instruction, I couldn't keep my hands off of my boobs anyway. It can't hurt but as always- you have to go by what your plastic surgeon says.

Hey there. I'm having my BA in about 4 weeks, so I'm reading through so many threads here. Just read through yours and enjoyed reading your story so far. I had to laugh a bit at your mom's comment to you. My mom never made a big deal about my being flat, but my dad (weird I know, but he thought he was being funny) once said: you should have a tattoo on your chest...this side up in case of rape. I let him know really quickly that wasn't appropriate or appreciated!! Anyway...just wanted to say, thanks for sharing your story. Hope the CC isn't too bad and you are able to stop it progressing. Sending you a FR too.

I have been following your story, and wanted to say thanks for sharing

My surgeon instructed regular massage- even the nurses stress the importance at every opportunity. So I am massaging like a mad woman.. ( well as best I can being only on day 5)!
I am happy to hear you caught the CC early..
