My boobie journey asian-style. *warning long*

So I've been contemplating about getting implants for over 3 years, and finally I am sitting here overjoyed with my new found twins. I have a natural tiny body frame so I guess that's one reason why I was so flat. Puberty passed me by and I was flat as a washboard... :[ lol.
Because of my flat chest, I was always self-conscious, making sure everything I wore showed no cleveage. I was reluctant to wear bikinis because I had virtually nothing. I am sure some of you ladies understand how I felt. So I was determined to get implants, my mom was 100% with me on this. She knew it would make me happy.

Since I am out of school for the summer, I really didn't have any other obligations other than my online classes. So I set a consultation date with Dr. Kofkoff (who employs the rapid recovery technique) and went w/ my mom on June 9th. During the consultation, he gave realistic expectation of the surgery and answered ALL of my questions (I had a long list because I've done plenty of research, and thanks to this site, I was well informed). Basically, what it comes down to is smooth round saline implant. He told me that my risks for rippling is high and I would definitely feel the implant. I was a bit discouraged after hearing all that because I had so little breast tissue. I am currently 21 years old so I couldn't get silicone, which would solve the problem I am most concerned with, the natural feel and risk of rippling. I am literally like 3 months away from being 22, and no exceptions can be made about the age limit to get silicone implants. My mom jokingly tried to bribe the doctor into getting me silicone, but meh it obviously did not work out LOL.
So what am my to do? I don't want to rush something that is going to stuck with me for 7-10 years down the road and not be completely satisfied. Initially, the Doctor said he would schedule my breast augmentation around thanksgiving, so it wouldn't conflict with my school work, but I need time to recover too so it may not work out. I was a bit down, I was so excited and thrilled going into the consultation expecting the Doc to tell me that he would be able to fulfill my wishes. I am glad that the Doc was very upfront and real with me. In my mind, I was like great... now I have to wait till the next summer to get it done.

Little do I know this wasn't the end of my journey. My mom made several calls over sea and got in touch with a well-known breast augmentation hospital in China. She made an appointment with the PS thru a nurse she knew in the hospital. So it was set, I was to fly over couple thousand miles to get my new boobs. This sounds a bit crazy, doesn't it? Trust me it is, I thought my mom was crazy. At first, I didn't agree to the idea because it's just a completely different environment. But then she booked the plane ticket, and told me it was too late for me to back out. I am like "uhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... oh snap?!?! Nooo! ugh... fine -_-" About a few weeks later, I was schedule to leave BY MYSELF. My mom couldn't tag along because the plane ticket was expensive, and she had to go to Florida for business matters. You may wonder, who the hell is going to take care of me? Well, my mom paid my aunt sum of money so she could take care of me after the surgery. I am very impressed with my mom actually, she has it all planed out and I am just sitting on the sideline all confused, flustered, and was wondering if its all really happening to me? ? ? I don't think anyone has been in my position, but I knew I had to trust my mom, there's no way out b/c she already bought the ticket and made the appointments and all my relatives oversea knows... ugh -_-, my grandma, all my aunts, uncles and cousins knows lol... at this point I am just like whatever eff this, I don't care anymore I am just gotta go along with it and get it done... no more waiting.

Sorry about my lengthy pre-sequel to my breast augmentation story. Anyways I will try to be less wordy and get to the point so don't give up reading just yet! xD

The week before Surgery
I had to go to the hospital to meet with the Doctor, and discuss the implants and such. We talked and agreed on 260 CC, Silicone thru transaxiliary incision. There is no age limit for silicone in china, so I am in the clear. :] They also took my blood sample, did a urinalysis, chest Xray, and some other weird test that I had no clue what it for but I figured well they must do it for a reason.

The Day before Surgery: June 29th

I went into the hospital the day prior, and stayed overnight. I was told not to eat anything after 8pm. My hospital room was really nice, it's got a TV, a fridge, a bed that props up electronically. I also had a roommate, she kept staring at me when I first checked in, which I was like oh eff my life... lol but then I guess she just got out of surgery so she was probably out of it or something. Her saline implants deflated, so she had the PS took em out. The nurse came in later to take my temperature, and gave me some shots to see if I was allergic to any pain meds *I think*. Then I had to sign some papers that night, I forgot how to write in chinese, so I scribbled something on the paper. hmm... oh well at least I can speak it haha . The PS later came to check up on me, and drew on me and took some pics and reconfirmed the implant materials.

The Day of Surgery: June 30th

I was very calm, I woke up early and took another shower, and plucked my eyebrows My aunt was watching TV while waiting for my surgery to complete. The time of my surgery was around 11:30am, and was instructed not to anything. Before that time, some lady brought in bunch of food that is scheduled to be delivered everyday (3 meals and 2 snacks). Do u see the problem with this.... I had an option of getting an IV if I was hungry, but I don't want to be stabbed with needles unless absolutely necesarily. Oh did I mention I can't drink any fluids either? That means no water. o.O Well it's a good thing that my mind was occupied with other things than food and water.

Around 11:15, some old man in nursing scrubs that I've never seen before came to my room to pick me up for the surgery. I was already in comfy hospital issued clothing, so i hopped on the bed and he wheeled me to the operating room. I was very warm and comfortable after being covered by a thick blanket. After entering the OR, some nurses crowded next to me, asked me some questions and initiated an IV through the veins on my leg. It didn't hurt that bad, I am very prone to pain. Then the anesthesiologist puts this mask over my mouth and at this point I was in happy land, I wasn't nervous at all. My whole thought revolved around how cool this experience has been so far, and next thing I knew I was knocked out.

I woke up feeling chest heavy. I opened my eyes and saw bunch of blurry figures. In my mind, I was like is this how I am suppose to feel? I can't see my boobs so for some reason I was wondering if they are done with my breast augmentation. I was obviously not thinking straight. So I kept murmuring to the blurry figures, is my surgery done and over with? I repeated my self but I don't think I could hear anybody answering my question, so I kept asking. And finally this one nurse was like, YES! It's DONE, you already asked 6 times! I was like oh snap.... I AM really out of it... lol they must be annoyed, but I was smiling with joy knowing that I FINALLY HAVE BOOBS *YAYAYAY*. I was in no pain after the surgery to my surprise from reading many of other ladies' stories here. I was actually expecting pain, so that was kind of a bonus. Maybe they gave me doses of pain meds thru the IV, meh who knows.

Afterwards, I was sent back down to my assigned room, and I wasn't allowed to eat anything for 6 hours.. I was dying of thirst.... like literally but I was hooked to the IV so deep down I knew I was gonna be ok. I drifted in and out of sleep and finally 6 hours passed, I was propped up and consumed some water. I ate so much food, I don't remember what I was eating, but I was just putting things in my mouth that smelled good .... lol =|

At one point, I had to go pee really really bad, so the nurses gave me like a flat plastic toilet thing that goes on the bed, so I was suppose to pee into that thing while I am laying flat on my back? I was like omg... eff my life for real this time. I couldn't pee for the life of me even though I feel like my bladder is about to explode. An hour passed... and I still couldn't, and I do not want to use a catheter... So I decided to get up, and DAMN it finally hit me, the pain, the sore, and I felt nauseous almost instantly so i had to lay back down for a few minutes. About 30 minutes later, I finally gained the courage to get up again for the sake of my bladder... lol and finally slowly made my way to the bathroom and BAM it was a success, nothing like a real toilet.
I had to stay in the hospital for the next 4 days to recover and I was released on Friday morning. They removed my drains on my last day, which was a big relief because it feels so weird having tubes hanging down from your armpit and u can see all the blood filling up at the end. When they took out the tubes for the drain, I can feel the tubes unwinding inside of my chest, the tubes were freakin long and all of it was inside of me. o.O After they took out the tubes, they tighten up the stitches which hurt like hell... probably the most pain I've experienced thus far.

So that was pretty much the extent of my breast augmentation experience.
Right now I am 9 day post-op, I am doing better day by day. I am still sore but I can tell that it's going away day by day. I am just so grateful that my surgery was a success thus far, and I really have to thank my mom for being persistent. She's way awesome, love her to death. Now I can finally wear those V-necks I've always dreamed of, and YES even bikinis... woohoo. I had alot of confidence in my self before and now even more, it's like my confidence level is turbo charged. I feel like that this could be one of my life changing experience. I also like to thank all the ladies from this forum, without everyone's personal experience and knowledge, I wouldn't be as informed. So much much thanks. And I hope everyone's breast augmentation is a success or will be a success.
