Smile Ready to share my boobie story! :-))

Hi, girls! So, journey to my boobies started long- long ago. But to tell the truth I never thought I would ever do it. Every woman in my family has boobs but me. I am unique LOL. I was waiting for them to grow for so many years… but they didn't want to grow:-)(I am sorry in advance for mistakes, English is not my native language and sorry for mixing the events telling my story, it's not in the chronological order.) Today is the 6th day after my breast augmentation(counting the breast augmentation day). Sorry, couldn’t write a report earlier, I felt very week and sleepy. For three days I ate only some crackers and drank Gatorade (I am sick of it now :-)). I didn’t have any appetite. Spent almost 5 days in my recliner because didn’t have any energy, it was even hard to talk as I couldn’t breathe deeply. Painkillers (Vicodin) kept me painless and sleepy all the time. I took Vicodin every 6 hours. 4 nights in a row I woke up at 3 a.m. being in dull pain all over my boobies. My Honey gave me painkillers and it took half an hour to kill the pain and I slept like a rock till morning. I don’t know what I would do without my Honey, I felt so helpless and miserable. He is so sweet and careful! I love him so very much!
On day 4 I had an egg and a piece of ham for dinner! That was the first time I asked for real food after my breast augmentation! My Honey was so happy! It tasted good but as I had a tube in my throat during the surgery it felt like I needed to lubricate my throat before swallowing the food, it felt like my throat was rubbed with sandpaper inside. I ate a piece of butter and it helped. On day 5 I ate chicken noodle soup and yogurt.
What is interesting I don’t have any bloating. I have taken some Colace to help me to do you know what )) But nothing is happening! :-) Maybe it’s because I ate so little?
Last night I had a fever 101.4 F. Don’t know why. The incisions look great, I just have tight boobies, sometimes they are painful. My doctor calls me every day since the day of surgery to check on me. Isn’t he wonderful!!? I told him about fever and he thinks it might be because I don’t breathe deeply, the lungs don’t function right. I can have some deep breaths when I sit on the edge of the chair with my body leaned forward, my elbows on my knees and my head down. So, girls, REMEMBER it’s very important to BREATHE!
Today I feel much more better, I am more alert. My hubby helped me to take shower and I even could brush my hair without any help! I still walk a little bit like a turtle (but today’s turtle is so much faster :-))
Now a little bit about the day of my surgery. I know from my experience how much the girls who are going to have breast augmentation are interested in reading surgery day stories. Everybody is scared of surgeries under general anesthesia (I was afraid of not waking up :-) and those stories help so very much to understand what to expect and help to calm down. I am so grateful to all the girls who posted their stories before my breast augmentation. They helped me SO VERY MUCH!!! And of course it’s always interesting to read new ones and wish happy healing!
So, my surgery was scheduled on July 7 at 7 a.m.(actually it started at 7:25 a.m.) We drove to Valencia the night before surgery and stayed in the hotel. My doctor Mark Lussier, my anesthetist Steve Colby and operating manager Diana called me the night before my surgery to be sure I was ok. I had a little fever (I had a fever because I had a sore throat and actually I started taking antibiotics 2 days before surgery because of that) and I was a little anxious. So I took 1 Valium on the way to Valencia and it relaxed me so much that I fell asleep in the car. I took shower in the hotel, took antibiotic (Keflex) at 11 p.m. and fell asleep. Slept like a baby the whole night! I woke up relaxed and excited. The boobies day has come!!! I wanted to look like a real woman so bad! (It will sound funny, but only a couple months ago when we were talking about the possibility of getting boobies with my Honey I said:” You know, baby, I would do that only if I was told that the end of the world was coming:-)” That’s because I was terrified of general anesthesia so much:-)) But the idea of looking like a woman, not a teenager at my 36 y.o., and having fun shopping intrigued me more and more every day. So I made a decision to get my boobies! And I am happy I did! I had a consultation with only one doctor Mark Lussier from Town Center Surgery in Valencia (my Honey was doing the research and found that wonderful doctor) and after talking to him I was 100% sure I’d do that. I liked the doctor’s confidence, his professionalism and his sense of humour. I trusted him. And of course I liked the Cosmetic Counselor, Wendy Whitehead. She is such a sweetheart! And all doctor’s staff is amazing! I had fun during consultation trying different sizes (my Honey had fun too:-)) and I wasn’t embarrassed at all (though that’s what I felt uncomfortable with before going to consultation) First, we liked how 325cc looked and decided to go with it (my Honey and I thought that 350 is too big). But when I made rice sizes at home we liked 350cc:-) That was our final decision. Ok, back to the day of surgery:-) In the morning I took shower, cleaned my teeth and took 1 Valium and anti-nausea pill with a sip of water 1 hour before surgery as my doctor told me. We arrived to the surgery centre at 6:50. I was taken to a pre-op room (my Honey was with me)and I was given a robe, funny slippers and black sexy single-use string panties (I’ll keep them for fun:-)) to change. I changed my clothes and the nurse helped me to lay down on the bed and measured my blood pressure and temperature. Everything was ok with me. Then the doctor came and drew my chest, talked to me a little and then anesthetist came and told me that everything would be ok and that he would take good care of me. I was smiling to everybody! I was happy! I remember myself kissing my beloved Honey and being escorted by the nurse to the OP room, then getting on the OP table. Still happy and calm! It was warm and very comfy on the table! Then my anesthetist started IV, I asked him what that was and then... I woke up in the recovery room. I even don't remember how I fell asleep! I was amazed how quick the meds worked! I loved my anesthesia and my anesthetist! So, don't be terrified, girls! Just relax and think about the beautiful results!

Part 2
I was taken to the op room at 7:25 a.m. and when I woke up completely in the recovery room it was 10 a.m. And My Honey was sitting next to me holding my hand, and my doctor and anesthetist came to visit me too to make sure I was doing ok:-)Actually my surgery lasted 1 hour and 10 minutes (My doctor also removed a mole on my face during the breast augmentation). I felt good, little groggy, and thanks god I didn’t have nausea. But I remember shaking bad. The nurse covered me with warm blankets and I felt better. So we spent about 20 minutes more in the recovery room and then I was helped to change clothes and wheeled to the car. The nurse gave me a blanket in case I started shaking again. My Honey covered me with it, put a pillow under my head and we drove home. I slept all the way. It took us 1,5 hour to get home. I don’t remember much about the first day, I was sleeping all the time, just was waken up by my Honey to take my meds. I remember the pain in the middle of the night. Vicodin helped a lot.
The next day after breast augmentation I wanted to look at my new boobies for the first time and take shower. I got up, my Honey helped me to unstrap me and unhook the post-op bra. He helped me to come up to the big mirror in our bathroom. I saw them and felt extreme nausea and I was about to faint. I had to sit down on a chair with my head hanging down and my Honey put ice on the back of my neck. That helped a lot! I don't know why that happened. The same was in the morning on Thursday, July 9 when we were getting ready to drive to Valencia for my post-op. That nausea drove me crazy! My hubby gave me antinausea pill, antibiotics and painkiller and we drove. I even didn't want my hubby to brush my hair:-)) I told him that I didn't care:-)I was so week:-)) He only washed my face and applied moisturizer:-) It takes us 1.5 hour to get to my doctor's office. I slept almost all the way. When we drove to the office I looked at myself in the mirror and was shocked. I started care:-)) But didn't have my brush with me, so I had to appologize before my doc and nurses for how I looked like :-)) I was on painkillers and Valium and they just smiled and said "That's ok, Sweetie, don't worry":-))
I felt dull pain like bruises in my rib cage and boobs. At the appointment the nurse changed the bandages on the incisions (they look great, there was no blood at all!!) My boobies looked funny pointed:-)) and not too big:-)) I hope they will change their shape and become bigger:-)) My doctor showed my Honey how to massage my boobies. It hurts but it feels good after massage, they don’t feel so tight. My Honey massages them every day 16 times each boobie to soften them (the doctor told us to do so to move the implants in the pockets). I can hear funny noises in my boobs when I press the skin between my boobs and lower than the incisions are. It sounds like when you step on a pile of crispy snow on a frosty day:-) I know that most of the girls experience the same. My doctor told me that that was the air which had been trapped inside of the boobies during the surgery. The body will absorb it. That’s normal.
To be continued…
Feel very sleepy and tired… Time to go to my recliner :-) I miss sleeping in one bed with my beloved Honey !!!
Wishing everybody Good Night and Sweet Dreams!
