My breast augmentation in Bangkok

I've never been happy with the shape of my boobs. To be honest, I never really been a fan of really big boobs (dont mean to offend anyone!!), but always just dreamed about having nice round boobs. I finally took the decision of having a breast augmentation, and as I currently live in Thailand I decieded that Yanhee Hospital would be my best option. I contacted Destination Beauty, who were extremly helpful all they way. Victoria (Destination Beauty) always answered my emails within hours, and was so lovely to me. I must have been extremly annoying with all my questions, emailing her every second day!

So August 10th was the date, and Dr. Pitch was my doctor (I requested him after reading good reviews about him her and in other forums). I was so nervous about the whole thing (I never really been in a hospital before), and especially since this is a secret from my family. When I got to the hospital at 9am for my appointment, I was told that Dr. Pitch was in an emergency meeting (BUMMER), and would not be available before sometime after 12. All ne nurses were so helpful and nice tho, and followed me to my room where I could wait. I don't want to be a crybaby or anything, but this must have been the hardest day of my life. Sitting in the little room alone, waiting and waiting, staring in the wall. I hadn't eaten since 6pm the day before, and I had the worst migrene attack. 12, 1pm, 2pm - no sign of Dr. Pitch. At that time I was getting second toughts, I was cosidering just leaving the hospital. At 2.30pm I called my boyfriend (who is with me here in Bangkok, but I told him to not come to the hosp before the surgery was over), and I started crying when I heard his voice. Somehow, I fell asleep, and was woken up by Dr. Pitch and a nurse at 3.30pm. FINALLY!.. I was really looking forward to the consultation with him, as I had so many questions and I was not 100% what would look best on me. My wish was under the muscle, 300-350cc, armpit incision, moderate or high profile.

My consultation with Dr. Pitch lasted less than 3 minutes. This is how the conversation went: Dr Picth:"What would you like?" Me:"I was thinking a C-cup...." Dr.Pitch:"Let me have a look at your breasts.. Yes I think I small C would look nice with your body. You want it through the armpit?" Me:"Yes.." And I showed him one picture of Jessica Alba, and then he left the room!! I asked the nurse if I was gonna see him again before the surgery and the anwer was no. I hadn't even discussed what profile, over or under the muscle etc"..!!!! In one way I trusted him, since he seemed to sure, but also, how could he really understand what I wanted after that short conversation.

I begged the nurse if I could please talk to him again, and I could.. OVER THE PHONE. He told me he wanted to do it over the muscle, and that he believed it would look uneven under. I asked him if it was impossible to have it partly under, and he said we'll see. He also said he would use low profile. I gave up asking any other questions, as communication with a thai doctor was difficult over the phone. So there I was, going to have low profile over the muscle..

FINALLY at 5pm it was time for surgery. I don't know why but I started crying again. I felt soo stupid,this was my choice, still the tears would stop. When I was in the surgery room I kept asking myself what the heck am I doing to myself. Then i fell asleep...zz

When I woke up in the recovery room I was FREEZING and my whole body was shaking. I kept asking - is it over or under the muscle - but was told I had to ask my doctor the next day.

The evening/night went ok, no vomitting or fever, just the horrible pain under the breasts. AUU!! My boyfriend spent the night, I dont understad how people do this alone -I had to have him feed me like a baby:-P Anyways, I have completly lost my appetite, mainly just been drinking (ALOT).

Day 1 (today), have been ok, still the pain under the breasts, and it hurts so much to lift my arms. WHen the nurse came to remove the drains, I had to lift my arms till my body started shaking in pain, and when she was massaging the breasts OMG I kept crying please stop please stop.

After waiting for Dr.Pitch the whole day I finally got 5 minutes with him, and got the answers to my questions. I have eurosilicone, 325cc in both, textured implants. And on the box it says high profile?? He told me he would use low.. anyways..

My breasts look HUGE!! I really hope its because of the swelling!! Mixed feelings, I kinda like them but they do not have the round shape I was hoping for. But I know I have to be patient... The pain is bearable, it's only really hurts the second I'm standing up, or second I lie down ofter standing.

Now I just got back to the hotel, and trying to keep myself occupied by writing this long, not interesting story!:-P

OMG I have boobs !!!

Congrats on your new breast. Although I have to admit, I'm not impressed with your PS cander. I got the impression this was the first time you had seen/discussed what you wanted/than had surgery and spend 3 min. doing it?? Your brave! I would certainly ask PS why he did HP vs what you I guess discussed, in the 3 min. conversation.

You are made of tough stuff girl! I would probably have freaked out and left if my PS seemed so rushed. I could not have gone through with it after a brief 3 minute conversation and without all my questions being asked.

How do you feel about getting HP vs Mods when you were expecting mods? Did you have any preference going into this? I hope you love the results in the end. Don't freak out yet about them being huge. You're probably swollen. Once this goes down you'll be able to better see what size you are.

Did you find out if he went over or under the muscle? If you're in so much pain I'm guessing he went under.

Anyway, here's hoping you have a speedy recover! Thanks for sharing your story with us.

Thanks for sharing your story with us. The other girls are right, you are very brave. When's the next time your going to see the doctor? You should ask him if he went over or under and whyh he used high when he told you mod. And don't let him leave until he does either.

Yeah, when I look back at it I can not believe I actually went through with it after only spending 3 min with my PS.

I've got it over the muscle

He said it was not possible to do unders, something about my muscle beeing too tight :S I'm really disappointed about this, as I really wanted it under, cus it seems better in the long run. But I must also say wow, respect to everyone who has it under, considering how that's suppose to be so much more painful! I thought I had it under, since it hurts soo much everytime I move!!

This night I woke up with a stabbing pain under my left breast, and I had to hold it up (support it) for at least 10 min before I could let go of it. Same thing this morning. Now that I've been up going/sitting for a few hours they feel fine. But I'm still scared of lying down - since it hurts so bad to stand up after. The breasts feel so heavy (especially the left one)!! My breast are still numb, and hurt most on "the side", not where the scar is(armpit), but kinda under on the side..

Today I'm trying to exercise my arms, lifting them over my head. I must say it's a lot easier today!

Hang in there. As for lying down, rather it be on your back or side, I was not able to lie down on back PERIOD for at best 3/4 wks. I was constantly at a 45-70% angle. Seemed like if I was on my back it hurt my breasts more esp. when I had to get up in the am (morning boob). Are you able to wear an underwire? I see you had the transax incision as did I. I was in an underwire from day 2. I hated not to wear it. Hang in there.

I had the same Problem with my last client with Dr Greechart and i will never use him again, eurosilicone is a cheaper brand than McGann which is what Yanhee is suppose to use and when i went to complain they tried to cover themselves but i am a tough girl and i did my research first and i know this to be true, so they want me to keep quiet. I will not because i started my service to help you girls that come to thailand for surgery and i will not send anyone to yanhee again without warning them first.
Let me tell you about my client last monday
she wanted under the crease moderate profile McGann textured
she got under the arm low profile eurosilicone textured
3 min consult with DR Greechart who was so rude that i was embarrased beyond belief. The local butcher could have done a better job on the stitches and when i took her to get the stitches out we waited 2 1/2 hours only to have him come in for 30 seconds and get the nurse to do it.
Yanhees doctors are overbooked and do not give you the consult that you need

Congrats on your new additions. Give it time - mine didn't even start to look normal until about 4 weeks or so! Take good care of yourself.
