My are finally here!

I had my surgery AUg 21 and right now I'm 4 days out. I've wanted breast augmentation for as long as I can remember. I always put it off because I have a low tolerance for pain. Kinda hard to believe since all 3 kids are by c section. I have to have pain meds LOL! Any ways...I'm in the Marine Corps and we are stationed in Okinawa. We know that when we get back to the states, deployments is going to happen and now is the time if I want to do it. We were looking at going to Thailand because we heard people had a good experience there, but there is no place like home to recover. Plus we have our kids to think about. So, I found a surgeon here through my husband's Marine. There is English translator and everything went smooth for the first appointment. We met at the end of June and booked the appointment then for Aug. At first, I told the doc I wanted overs for a faster recovery, but he said it would look more natural going under. I agreed because that is what I wanted a natural look. I had til Aug 3rd to decide on the size. Again I wanted a natural look. I settled on Mentor Texturized Silicone 400cc.
On the day of the surgery I went to work (Marine mentality) to tie up last minute stuff. So glad I did because there was stuff I had to handle. My husband and I got to the clinic at 1030. They took me back to get prepped for surgery. Doc gave me a shot to relax me. Of course I freaked a little and he said I was sensative. Yep, sure am LOL! I get my meds to knock me out and the next thing I know I wake up in pain. Did I forget to mention that Japanese do not believe in narcotics for pain like we do. They gave me something that put me back to sleep though. It wasn't so much my chest in pain but my sternum that hurt. I'm pretty bony in the chest area and I felt like my bone was broken or something. A couple of hours later it was time to go home and I was still in pain. You ever have that pain that hurts so bad that you start to sweat from it. Yeah thats the pain I had leaving the clinic. The nurses wanted me to stay the night I was sweating so bad from the pain. But I sucked it up and went home. My doc for the military had already given me pain meds and they were waiting for me at home. The first 2 days were hard for me. I had a follow up the next day to remove the bandage and to start using the breast band. Which gave me a friggin brusie while I slept because the bottom part was poking me. I woke up in such pain from it. I had a follow up again today and he says everything is going good. I get stitches off on Sat and then the massage begins he said. Right now my real pain is in my sternum bone and all the swelling I'm having in my body. Its freakin me out. I'm hoping to be a full C. When I first saw my boobs they looked small...I hope I chose the right size. There is my story, kinda boring.

That's great that the military worked with you on getting a breast augmentation! I never would have guessed they would.

Congrats! I can't believe they don't give out pain meds. Did they mention this beforehand? Is there any reason why they forgo this option? I want to make SURE that when I get my breast augmentation my PS injects the area with some kind of long lasting pain killer. I don't do well with the whole pain thing.

Anyway...keep us updated on how you're progress!
