My souvenir shopping in Thailand for boobies!

It is very unlike me to be able to have travelled all the way to Phuket Thailand all by my little old self to get boobies and come back to Australia again. See as a Mum of two my kids don't even let me use the bathroom alone so it was a little overwhelming going all that way alone when I am just not used to be alone at all.

But I did it and am sooo proud of myself. I booked through Destiny Meditravel if anyone is interested too.

I went from Brisbane to Singapore airport and then from Singapore airport to Phuket. Once in Phuket the hospital (Phuket International Hospital) sent a driver to pick me up and he took me to my hotel I'd booked into. The next morning the hospital picked me up from the hotel and took me to the hospital for my first consult and surgery. So finally I met my surgeon, he was really really thorough in his explaining and also explained to me that he'd really not used implants that big before.

The details we decided on were....
600cc mentor gels
above the muscle
crease inscision
moderate profile.

Now in Thailand they are very very conservative in sizes of implants so if you do go over there you will have to order in any implant over I think it's 400cc. I knew this before I went over so had already ordered in the bigger size so it was waiting for me when I got there. The surgeon was really good though and ordered in a few of the bigger sizes for me to try on to decide which I liked which I thought was really good.

So consult ends with me having all the pretty lines etc drawn over my boobies and I am taken to pay for the surgery and then shown to my room. Now the room over there was incredible!!! Better than any of the hospitals I've been to in Australia. Approx 1 hour later I was gettin wheeled into theatre.

Woke up back in my room after the surgery and was in a bit of pain but anxious to text my husband to tell him I was out of surgery. Now being really really high at the time I just couldn't for the life of me master texting him but the nurses helped me thankfully otherwise who knows what my message would have said to hubby lol!

You stay overnight in hospital there and then are discharged to go back to your hotel which again a hospital driver takes you. To my suprise the hospital actually provided a surgical bra and the pain meds whereas I had thought they were all extra's so had even pre bought surgical bra's with me to Thailand.

You do have to stay in Thailand for 10 days after surgery which really sucks when your homesick like I was. But I am home now so feeling 100 times happier now.

On day 4 after surgery I really did feel almost back to normal, I have minimal bruising and pain (stopped the meds on day 4 too). At 7 days post surgery I had a check up and the surgeon was very happy with the results (so am I of course, I cannot stop touching them lol). There was no stitches as I had surgical glue used instead otherwise at 7 days post would have been when the stitches come out too.

I really would recommend the hospital and surgeon I went though which was Dr Sanguan at Phuket International Hospital. They were just AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cost me sooo much less going overseas than it would have cost in Australia and I really am estatic with the results of my surgery.

Hey trajac, Wow you are very brave! Went over to BKK to get my breast augmentation just over a year ago now but I had family over there and could speak the language. Hope you made it over to Phi Phi Island too. I'm off to go check out your pics. Probably see you around sometime...brissy is soo small. xx

I didn't make it to Phi Phi It was really quite rough weather to get out there I'd heard so gave it a miss.

How bad is this, I was over in Phuket for 2 weeks and still don't understand any of the language I just couldn't pick it up no matter how hard I tried

I just want to say that I admire your bravery traveling to Thailand like that! I went with my college once from the US to Italy and even with English speaking companions I never got over the culture shock. It sounds like the hospital experience was superb! Thank you for sharing and congrats.

As for those who are still single without too many commitments and are able to do so, Please experience travelling alone. travelling is so great for the soul for anyone! Doing it alone made me feel like I achieved something.

Haha don't be so hard on yourself. you made it out from the airport! I went to phuket alone a year ago. It was so scary at first, I just hopped in some van hoping it would take me to the right hotel. I dont think Phuket is the place to go for a girl travelling on her own. I dunno, bangkok just seemed safer and more friendly to me. Down there, they speak differently too. Not the regular Thai im used to.

yayayaya you got ur bewbies!!! checked the pics they look aweeesome im off this sunday to BBK. Can't wait, surgery is next tuesday.
My partner is looking forward to having to pull down my pants and wait on me ...and rub my feet (i told him they will be swollen from surgery... ahh men...so gullible)
