Long awaited Bangkok Boobies (long)

Hi all!!!
Thought i would put up a quick story on my bangkok story.

I'm from Brisbane, Australia to start with and i have been planning to have surgery since i hit puberty and everyone else grew boobs and i didn't.
I also hated the shape of my boobs, they were weird and not like everyone elses.

Anyway, all my friends have been getting implants lately and paying up around 12K for implants, and i got a few consults and got told that it would be about the same, and i couldn't justify spending that much on beauty when i could put it down on a house deposit or something (my parents would kill me if i did it too)

Sooooo one morning on the way to work i heard an ad on the radio about cosmetic surgery in bangkok, so i looked it up and by the end of that week i had 2 tickets (partner and i) booked to thailand! ....as an after thought i did all the research haha. I ended up going with an agent called Secret Escapes - they were great, answered all my questions and also helped me out with all my concerns about going overseas for surgery.

Long story short -i was never nervous about going overseas, i had heard lots of positive things and it was so much cheaper.

Anyway when i was a week out of flying to Thailand, i got depressed and stressed and my partner wanted to kill me and i was miserable. It was the worst week ive ever had this year and i just didn't wanna go through with the surgery - but it was too late to cancel anything without wasting a lot of money.

SOoooo we got on our flights, got into thailand the day before surgery, i swam and ate and showered and did all the things i couldn't do after surgery.. The next morning we got a cab to the hospital - Yanhee International Hospital. This place was CRAZY but amazing crazy. Girls on rollerblades skating around delivering files and nurses in tiny cute lil suits it was so different to home, but so clean. We registered in reception and went up to the forth floor which is where they do the consults. Waited for a while (i was expecting this before hand).. Got into my consult and Dr Pitch told me that i couldn't go any more then 260cc because of the shape of my boobs, i then burst into tears and was just gonna walk out.. My agent - Catherine (secret escapes) got me a second consult with dr pitch to ask if there was a different proceedure that we could do so i could get a bigger implants - good ol tuberous nipples. He told me he would try to put atleast 300cc's in and put a suture (dunno how to spell it) behind my nipple to try and pull it up a bit.

I was happy with this and went ahead to pay for the sugery (which stuffed up and had to sit around on the phone to my bank and then sat around for ages more but they sorted it all out) instead of sitting and waiting for the money to go back into my account so they could take it out again, they took me upstairs and did all my blood tests and IV etc, and brought the credit card machine up to my room for me to process the transaction - MIND YOU IT COST ME $2900!! so stoked.

Anyway at 5:30 they took me away to operating theatre.... and thats about all i remember hahaha. Not once was i nervous or scared, my partner even left the hospital at about 3:30pm coz he was bored of sitting with me hahaha. I got back to my room about 10:30pm and i didn't feel any pain at all, i was great.

At about 3:00am the pain kicked in and i kept buzzing the nurses for pain killers but they said nooo no more for 4 hours, so i would sit and watch the clock till i could have my next lot of pain killers and buzz them the second it ticked over hahaha. Sitting up was a nightmare... the thought of it made me sick... i was sore all over and i couldn't move or sit up and my back and neck were aching and i was cranky. I still didn't know what size i had ended up with or if i had overs or unders....

My partner came back to the hospital at about 9:00 when i was proceeding to throw up some form of green matter (the pain killers made me sick). I sat up by myself at some stage and went to the toilet, was happy with myself then. I started to ask the nurses now that i was a bit more with it what size i had and the placement and guess what...

I ENDED UP WITH 380CC HP UNDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ayyayayayayayayayya.

Got discharged at 1:30 after tryin to sleep for a little bit.. Went back to the hotel and slept a bit more..

And that leads me to now day 3.. I went shopping today and yeah im still sore but nothing serious, just keep taking my painkillers when i feel really bad but otherwise im fine.

The nurses at Yanhee hospital are SOOOOOO cute... They are so nice too and they try and speak to you but they dont understand a lot you say, they do know basics though. They drill in the aftercare into you though, i had about 5 nurses tell me what i need to do over the next few days haha.

Ive put a few pics up, i dunno if they look normal, i dont have the implant look that sits high up??? they dont look square like other girls' do, so comments to let me know if they are ok or not would be great

Dunno if i have missed anything else out cept that Dr Pitch was great, the nurses were great, Secret Escapes were a great company to go through and have helped me with a lot of everything.

Bangkok is a scary place but im happy i came here for this - definately an experience i will never forget.

Love reading surgery abroad stories. I flew from canada to mexico for mine, 7900 here and 3800 there. I did the abroad thing so it would be done fast. There is a 6 month wait here for a consult and I wanted my boobs within a month. People get so rude when they hear you travel for your BA. My results were not perfect but my plastic surgeon here ( my new one) confirmed it was my bodies fault in that the pocket healed too fast before the implant could fall into it so it has to be redissected. I had a great experience in mexico and I got a vacation and boobs for the same price of boobs here. Goodluck with your recovery

Thats awesome! Congrats and thanks for sharing your story! i would have never thought (or had the guts) to go there for a boob job.but Im glad it all worked out for you and you saved A LOT of money!!! You look great!! Wishing you a speedy recovery!! :-)
