I made it through the surgery! I have posted new pics in my group. My twins look absolutely spectacular considering it only the day after surgery. I can't believe how good they look already.

So, we got there at 6 a.m., and they had me pee in a cup, weighed me, got an IV started, then Dr. Miller came in and marked me up. Then the anesthesia guy came in and asked me questions. A few minutes later the nurse came and wheeled me into the OR, which was SUPER cold!! They gave me warm blankies and hooked me up to some machines. Then the anesthesiologist told me he is going to give me the medicine that will relax me. I got really nervous at that point, then he told me is going to give the medicine that will make me go to sleep. The next thing I remember I was waking up in the recovery room moaning and in pain. They gave me some morphine in my IV and all was good.

I don't know how long I was in the recovery room, but was told the surgery took 2 hours, and we got to our hotel room around 11:30 a.m., and I just slept for the rest of the day. I only woke up to take pain meds and muscle relaxers. I think my cousin called me but I really don't remember.

Yesterday I was really sore, and yes, at times, in pain. Real bad pain. I told my hubby that giving birth hurt less. But by 8 p.m. the pain pump was working really good, the pain meds and muscle relaxers were working and it really only hurts when I get up from a laying position. I am trying not to use my arms much because that kind of hurts, too.
I have minimal bruising, and I already love my girls!!

I posted some pics of me, post-breast augmentation in my group...I'll add more later when I am feeling better.

One piece of advice I have is TRY TRY TRY to eat some crackers when you take your meds. I was given some anti nausea medication, and I already ran out, so the meds are making me really sick. PS said it's because I have nothing in my tummy.

Oh, and one more thing, my throat is sore, and when I cough it takes like plastic. Just an FYI.
