I finally have normal boobs! My breast augmentation story

I come from a big boobed family where, sadly for me, genes completely left me out and not only that I had tiny AA boobs, they were not normal shaped at all, really empty in the middle and tuberous aswell. God knows how much time I've spent over the years being depressed and trying to find bikini's, bra's and clothes that fit me but I never did. I have a sister who has naturally perfect big D boobs and after my dad saw me so upset he offered to lend me the money to pay for a breast augmentation before I was 21. I don't think I've ever felt happier or luckier in my entire life!

As soon as he told me this, I phoned for a consultation. I went along where I talked to a personal co-ordinator about my stats/sizes/implants/worries etc and I couldn't wait any longer and I said I definitely wanted to go through with a breast augmentation. How shocked was I when she said 'we have an appointment available in less than 2 weeks'! I thought if my dad wants to kill me, I don't even care and I booked it. I didn't even give myself enough timed to stress or be nervous over the operation.

A few days after this I had an appointment with my surgeon. I was so, so nervous and this was just because I was so ashamed that I'd have to actually take my top off in front of someone other than my boyfriend (I was with him 9 months before he even saw anything! haha) I had a good talk with my surgeon and he told me not to worry and made me feel really at ease. He gave me a bra to try on and silicone implants. He gave me 240cc I think it was and 300cc to try in it. I knew the 240 definitely wasn't big enough (I have a bigger bottom half). My boyfriend asked if I had any other options and he said I could have 340cc if I wanted to but he thought I would have the Victoria Beckham fake look, so I decided to go for the 300cc. A few days after this I had my pre-op, which was going over the contracts etc and taking my before photos.

I was getting 300cc, incision in the crease and over the muscle. The whole procedure has cost me around £4,000.

The day of my surgery, I don't think I have ever been more scared or nervous in my entire life! I had to wait a good 5 or 6 hours before my surgery time and when the nurse came to take me to theatre I thought I was going to burst out crying haha. I asked for gas to be put to sleep because I didn't like needles, went to sleep and woke up an hour later. I had quite an uncomfortable night with pain (I stayed over night in the hospital) and such but nothing abnormal. The worst thing that came after my surgery was definitely illness, my body hated the GA and I threw up several times a day for about 2 days after my surgery.

It's now been nearly 2 months since my surgery and everything is absolutely perfect. You would never have any idea that my boobs used to be tuberous and I've gone from an AA to a D. My scars are slightly pink but healing really nicely. I had my final check up today and my surgeon said they're perfect in every way! I haven't regretted getting my breast augmentation at all and even though I have had boob greed, I'm glad I don't look like Victoria Beckham!

Congrats on such a successful breast augmentation!! Glad to hear everything went well and you feel great! I also started with breasts I hated--saggy, uneven, just ugly. And now, even though I am only one week out, I feel like a million bucks! I think it's great you did something that makes you feel so great!

FANTASTIC!!!!!!! I was the only sister in a household of 6 who didn't get a visit from the boobie-fairy during puberty. I'm so glad that you say you are "normal" and are so happy with the result. Isn't it a great feeling!!!!

Although my family does not have a big-boob heritage, my sister is natural C & I was dealing with so much of teasing during teenage years - I do know your pain. Take care & rest well. Enjoy your new addition

. They look great! I'm glad you're happy with your size...I think it's definitely easy to fall into the trap of always wanting to go a little larger, but sometimes that's not what's best, haha.

I also have tuberous breasts, so I know how you feel about clothes/swim suits never fitting right...bathing suit shopping has always been a kick in my major self esteem because the tops never fit correctly. However, unlike you, I'm actually the largest breasted out of my sisters...they're just droopy and oddly shaped, unfortunately!
