![]() | My Ba 10 Days ago
Had my surgery on the 14th October. I was booked in for 7 am to have 270CC Silicone round textured Implants above the muscle and inscisions under the breast fold. Nurse was a little worried as my blood pressure was quite low before surgery and no explanation, I have no history of low blood pressure and hadn't been unwell prior. Surgery still went ahead. I should note that I am a smoker as well and failed to be strong enough to give up before surgery, I know, i know I should have given up altogether LOL but it was soo hard, I told my surgeon this but i was able to cut down to about 8 cigarettes a day so he was happy to still go ahead with the procedure. After surgery I didn't do to well in recovery, I had been throwing up and was not able to keep any fluids down, they gave me an injection to stop the vomiting and all was well within about 20 minutes of giving me the injection. I was not in alot of pain afterwards and went home two hours later wearing a medical bra. The following day I had heavy purple bruising down both sides of my breasts and went back to have it checked. I had ended up having a haematoma and was bleeding internally both sides. They were happy to leave it as they said my body would re absorb it so no need to drain it. I have had very little pain, The dressings came off 5 days post op. I am now 10 days post op , breasts have softened, no more swelling and the scars even now only 10 days are almost invisible and hair line about 2 cms in length. So all in all it went pretty smoothly with little problems other than the internal bleed which didnt turn out to be too major and they said was quite common in the first 24 hours of Breast Augmentation. I am happy with how it all went and although i feel i could have gone slightly smaller they are not over the top huge porn looking breasts so I am still happy |

Well done you! I am having my BA 2 days and am so nervous! Mostly about size scared of being not big enough or being too big! What size did you start with and are hoping for? Glad to hear you did'nt have much pain I am also going over the muscle with crease incision and have heard recovery is alot better. My only other worry is leaving my babies for the night as here in the UK it is usually a 1 night stay, they are staying with my mum and i know they will be fine but i have not left my 2 youngest over night before my 2 eldest i have as they have sleepovers.I was going to have it done when my husband comes home on leave from Afghanistan but do not want to take up the few weeks we have together as a family with me being sore.Hopefully i will look fantastic when he comes home in 6 weeks! |
