My BA story at last!

So I tried to post this a billion times but my computer at home just deleted it half way through every time...

So the week before BA I was a nervous wreck

!! I was so excited but so dang scared I could not enjoy my excitement! The night before BA I felt good not nervous at all? woke up still not nervous? drove to pick up my daughter and then off to surgery center, still not nervous? pulled into parking lot and gulp, gulp freaked out

I looked down at my boobies then over at my daughter and said "you know they really aren't that bad" haha..She said ma it is too late we are going in!!

I go into the surgery center and check in the receptionist ask me a billion question I am doing good until she says "If something should go wrong would you be willing to have a blood transfusion?"

uh yes, then she says "do you have a living will?" holy smokes my mind starts thinking the worst. like no I do not but do you have a piece of tissue maybe I should write one real fast lol.....

I wait, and wait, and wait..............the nurse comes out and calls me back! we go back she has me pee in a cup and then gives me a gown tells me to change and meet her at the bed at the end of the hall. As I am changing I am thinking omg...do I really want to do this. I change meet her down the hall she says have you ever had surgery before and that was it I start crying She said oh honey it will be ok what are you here for? She looks at the chart and says oh you are gonna be fine and come out looking like a barbie doll..I smiled and felt alittle better.

They start my IV and bring my daughter back I take one look at her and start crying again..Then I stop and the "bartender" comes in and I start to cry again ,holy jeeze already! Dr. comes in yep you guessed it crying some more. He marks me and calls "happy" Dr. back. He comes in gives me a little happy juice and says I will give you more when we get to the OR and you will go to sleep and wake up I promise. I smiled...they take me to the OR I look up and see big lights they have me move from the one bed to the other put my arms out to my side and that is the last thing I remember. I have no idea what the heck happened but I was gone!!!! Woke up in recovery feeling super sore!

I don't remember the drive home at all or recovery for that matter...I had a lot more pain then most girls on this site I think? I hurt so bad the first night it was horrible. the 2nd and 3rd day still hurting but a ton better with every passing day!

Today I am 10 days post op and feeling so good...they are looking pretty!!! so excited for the whole D&F process...tried a tube top on last night OMG..I am gonna love havin these things =)

Thanks so much for sharing your story.

I'm set to have mine done next Friday (Nov. 13). I am SUPER excited!!!!! The only thing that freaked me out was the pain you said you were in afterwards...that is clearly what I'm dreading most!

I wouldn't trust me and the pain thing lol...most girls on here don't experience what I did...you will be happy in the end either way..I look down and am just in aww of life with boobies....=) good luck keep us posted!

Thanks hun....I feel amazing...my girls are a little sore still but looking great. My left is just moving along beautiful my right seems to be a little more stubborn...It is doing better every day but from the beginning has been slower at healing....I am so happy we did it...woo hoo!

FR please. So glad your doing so well. I am more worried about tomorrow than I was last time. TT pretty much was on my mind last time and boobs were an after thought. I don't even remember any pain. I am sure there was some. I just recall thinking they were heavy and hugh and Wow at first. Congrats!! Your daughter is so sweet to be there for you.

Thank you she is the best! she is due the end of this month ! yep gonna be a 37yr old grandma with boobies...=)
Are you having a redo? what is going on =( Tomorrow? I need to read your stats..let me know what is going on? The pain was bad for me but I hear so many woman say piece of cake ? I also hear the second time is easier then the first?? ok tell me your story! =)

Great story. I feel the same way, i'm starting to bite my nails, my heart is beating 200 miles per hour (that's how nervous I am right now). 20 more days to go.

Thanks!!! don't worry about it...you are gonna do great and be so happy..even if you hurt after you will still love that you did it! it is so worth it, it really is and I am so glad I did not give into fear....good luck to you I know you will do great and I am looking forward to your story...
