Day 2 - Feeling Fine

Yeasterday I finally got the figure I always hoped to have...

We arrived at the doctor's office at around 10:15 and had to wait 2 hours before I finally was put on the table. 45 minutes later I was in recovery and I was home by 2:15.

I've been tired, but not really in that much pain. Things are going remarkably well. I'm sleeping good (I'm used to sleeping in a reclined position when my allergies are bad). I really just feel like I've done a really hard chest workout. By tomorrow I hope to be off the pain meds, I've been slowly spreading them out as far as possible now.

My husband has been so wonderful taking care of me and the kids. I've barely had to lift a finger. We are both amazed at how good they look and can't wait to see the final product. I haven't taken off the sports bra yet to look at my incisions (they have tape over them anyway), but I'll probably do that later today. I am able to lift my arms over my head and reach my back.

I never did find a back scratcher and I really wish I did have one!!

Thank you so much to everyone here who helped me get through to this point. Now that I'm on the other side, I hope to be as helpful to the girls who are waiting for their turn.

congrats on your breast augmentation... I'm in day 2 of recovery too...

sounds like things are going pretty smoothly for you too. ... now it is just a patient waiting game to see the end result!

hope the remainder of your recovery is problem free!

Congrats!!!!! Here's to a speedy recovery! I never did find a back scratcher....but I did get my hands on a teflon spatula that definitely helped!

Congratulations! About the back scratcher, just do what my DH does....back up to a door frame and do mini-squats to scratch up and down on your back. Looks like a bear scratching on a tree in the woods!

Seems to be pretty effective!
