![]() | Good News!!!
Thank you all for your thoughts.. They worked because I am cleared for my breast augmentation ![]() Day 6 pre op I got to the clinic at 11:30am. They called me for my mammo within 5 mins. The girls are so great there and caring. I got changed and went straight in, the second I walked into the exam room I burst into tears It was just all too much for I guess. The poor girl that had to deal with me was awesome. She took 3 new pictures at different angels with a smaller compressor thing than I had the first mammo. Again it didn't hurt which I was very grateful for. She took the pictures immediately to the radiologist while I waited. She came back and needed to take more pictures. Again she left me waiting and came back saying that the Dr wanted me to have the ultra sound, they took me in straight way (at least no waiting around wondering). The liquid stuff was really warm (another positive thing). The tech said she could see some areas that she wanted the Dr to come in and see. He came in and at this point I wiggled my head to where I could see the screen. I saw them marking out a few black circle things. He then told me I have multiple cysts and that he wasn't going to need to biopsy anything I can not begin to explain how relieved I was to hear that and again I burst into tears after he left. The tech girl also started crying She must be pre menstral or something, but I felt terrible for making her cry too. I got cleaned up and dressed, called my husband and left him a message saying that the panic is over for now ![]() I then called my PS office the see if they were going to go ahead and let me get boobies or not, the girl hadn't seen the official report yet, but said if the other said he was not concerned that all should be well. So as of now I'm still 6 days pre breast augmentation ![]() I can't begin to thank you all for your comforting words and warm thoughts. You played a huge part in this for me and helped me to relax somewhat. My love to you all xoxo Thank you for being there |

![]() | breast augmentation Day I was scheduled to arrive at the hospital by 8:40am for surgery. My husband drove me there as I was a little nervous and couldn't drive safely. We arrived 20 mins early and I was called in for prep within 5 mins. The nurse showed my to a small room, she gave me a hospital gown to wear and everything else had to go in a bag. Once I was changed I got up on the bed, she covered me with a warming blanket. She also put somethings around my ankles that would inflate and deflate, it was to help prevent blood clots or something like that. She then asked me some basic medical questions and got my IV ready. She missed the vein the first time and had to begin over.. second attempt worked great. They started me on fluids until the anesteiologist came in. He went over everything with me and gave me some sedative, that stuff was great, totally relaxed me and I was even trying to be funny with the nurses (what a dork lol). Then the PS came in to make sure I still wanted the same size I picked out before, he had ordered 3 sets of implants for me so that I could change my mind at the last minute if I wanted. I stuck to the 400 + cc's and he gave me an extra 20cc's to overfill. Next thing I know they are wheeling me in to the operating room. I had to slide to the table and then they explained what would happen next. I don't remember anything beyond that point. I was a little groggy when they woke me up and very thirsty. They got me some warm water and then I fell asleep again for about an hour. Next time I woke up I asked if I could see my DH, so they dressed me and put me in a hospital recliner and took me to another room. I was so pleased to see my husband, he was holding out well, but very worried. The nurse put a anti nausea patch behind my ear and I had no sickness. They took me to the car in a wheel chair and got me strapped in. I was fully alert and feeling like nothing happened. The drive home was not bad at all. I got myself situated in the recliner with all my meds and drinks on a table beside me. I set my cell phone alarm for the times I was to take meds and have not suffered any pain yet. I do feel tight and full, and it's really hard to cough (my throat was sore from the tube). I was very happy that I was able to take myself to the bathroom, even though DH said he didn't mind helping me.. it's a pride thing and if I can do it myself I will lol. I didn't really sleep that nigh, more like dozing off a few times. The recliner is real comfortable, but I'm a tummy sleeper so that is really bugging me right now.. hopefully I'll be back in my bed soon. This morning was not too bad, I had a touch of morning boob when I got up. It felt like the muscles were seriously squashing the implants. It took me a few minutes to get up straight and moving, but once I did that the morning boob was gone ![]() I haven't had any appetite yet, have been eating some jello with my meds, thankfully I don't have an upset tummy. But I do have terrible itches, I'm constantly trying to scratch. I think I need to try get something for the itching.. it's driving my nuts as it is constant ![]() We took off the surgical bra and padding tonight to check the incisions. They looked great considering, no weeping or funny smell. My boos are beautiful.. but they are swollen and tight. It was so nice to let them out of the bra and wrap and get some air on them, my boobs felt 10 times better after doing that. But I had to get wrapped back up so as not to cause any damage.. they might get let out to play again tomorrow evening I posted pics to my Yahoo group if anyone is interested. When I compare tonights pic to my before pics I can't believe that I'm looking at myself... such an amazing transformation. I'm so happy with everything so far and still can not believe that I really have boobs I couldn't even begin to guess what size they are, I got 420cc's in each breast unders, but they don't look big at all, so hopefully I'll reach a full C in a few months. My whole tummy and legs are very swollen right now, it looks like I'm 5 months prego. And I have found that when taking a pee that it takes forever to get it all out... sorta like a dribble. I think that must be something to do with the meds. I've been having to go potty nearly once every hour. That is a good thing as it gets me up and moving. That is all I can think of for now, I'm still a little groggy from the pain pills. Thank you all for reading and all the support and well wishes. xoxo*PS please excuse any typos or bad grammer *
