![]() | I can't believe I have boobs!!!!
I have wanted a breast augmentation for as long as I can remember. Basically since puberty and my boobs never grew. I went for one consultation with the PS that a friend used and booked my surgery the next week. The night before I didn't sleep at all. I've never had any kind of surgery or anything and the thing I was most terrified of was the IV. My surgery was scheduled for 8:30, but I had to be there at 7:45.My fiance and I got there right on time and they took me back as soon as I walked in the door. I had to take a pregnancy test and put on a paper gown and they sat me in a recliner and covered me with a blanket. When we first walked in the room my fiance tried to sit in the recliner and the nurse was like,"Oh no honey... that is her chair!" Then the nurse with the IV came in and I'm getting so nervous that i'm shaking. She starts talking to us and I'm squeezing my fiances hand as hard as I can and he finally said, "baby why are you still squeezing my hand?" She had put it in so quick I barely felt it. She was good! So then in comes the anesthesiologist who was very happy that morning. He put something to help me relax in my IV and told me to tell him when I felt dizzy. Like 2 seconds later I felt it so he helped me walk into the surgery room. I barely remember getting on the table and him asking me if I wore contacts. Then he put the mask over my face and I was out. The next thing I remember is waking up and feeling like I had just dozed off for a second and apologizing for falling asleep. He laughed and said that was supposed to happen and that my surgery was over. I was in the recovery room for about 30 mins before they let me leave. I was so doped up that my time between the OR and recovery is really fuzzy. I wasn't in hardly any pain at all and for the next two days I was just a little sore, which is weird because I was expecting the worst. Now 8 days post op i'm still a little uncomfortable, but in no pain at all. My boobs are funny looking right now. They have the huge torpedo look going on and they're hard as a rock. Also the thing that is really annoying me is that my right boob has started to drop and my left one hasn't so I'm lopsided right now. But I tried on my wedding dress(getting married June 9) and it fits perfectly. Now I just hope my boobs even out by my wedding day.

Congrats on the boobies!! My right one started to drop immediately...lefty is taking her time, but then, I haven't been wearing the strap as much as I should. So don't worry, that;s normal, lots of us are dealing with a stubborn lefty. By the time you get married, I bet they will be just right! Congrats again, on the boobies, and your upcoming wedding! |

Congrats on your breast augmentation and upcoming wedding day! I'm almost 30 days post op and it's still very surreal. I just can't believe I actually did it. Plastic surgery is one of those things you talk about but never actually do (isn't it)? Welcom to boobieville! Happy Healing,

that if you're right handed and use your right side more, it will take longer for the left side to heal? Maybe I should start working out my right side so the left boob will drop faster after I get my breast augmentation lol

Wow your wedding is in June?? Wonderful for you. Where in NC did you have your surgery? I am having mine done in Winston on 04/19 and am nervous, I was worried about the healing time, dropping, etc so I am having mine done so many months prior to my october wedding. Keep us in the loop and let us know how your healing is going. thank you so much for sharing. |
