![]() | I;m back and have boobs :)
I'm home and now a Boobiewvill resident ![]() I had my surgery this morning at approx 10am So far all is great, I can move around a little but am drugged up on pain killers right now, and I think the anesthetic (sp) is probably still doing it's magic. My right side is doing the best, I can use that arm/hand a lot better. I have slight pain towards the top of leftie.. kind towards my arm pit area, but it's really not excessive pain, I'd rate it a 2 on a scale of 1-10 ![]() Everything went really smoothly from when I got to the clinic to right now. My hubby is being sooo amazing (just a little bit of the Nazi Nurse attitude), he seems to be more upset and scared than I am right now. I got 420cc's on each side, but haven't seen them yet I have a post op on Friday so I really hope to sneak a look then. I can see the tops of my boobies coming about the surgical bra.. so that is enough to keep me satisfied for now. Buit I can't help wondering what size I will be after D&F.I've got so many pills to take but hubby is keeping a record of everything for me as I'm a bit scattered brained right now. But I do have to say that everything has not been as bad as I expected yet (early in recovery still I know). Just wanted to sign on here to let you all know I'm alive and very happy right now. And to Dani (if you see this): I hope you were ok today, I was thinking of you as I went in to surgery (((((HUGS)))))) All my love to you all out there for helping me through this and keeping me upbeat and educated |

Thank you all I'll still pretty much the same as I was a few hours ago.. which is really good and I'm counting my blessing there. Hubby is just being the greatest, he is remembering all the times for popping pills, jumps o attention if I even move and is just being the best care giver I could hope for, which I also think is really helping me to keep a good/positive attitude. I hope he goes to bed soon as I can se how tired he is after all this. The wait must have been aweful for him too (3 hrs from when I went to prep). I hope that I don't get too moody and turn nasty on him, because he does not deserve that at all. Poor fella was up since 5am this morning getting things ready for me.I'm dying to take a look at the new girls, but am so afraid that if I open the bra that things will move or I won't be able to pull it shut again I'm getting up at least once every hour to go pee, so I think that has to be good to keep me loose and for my back. I'm blessed that I don't have to throw up or anything like that yet, they stuck an anti nausea patch behind my ear which has to come off around noon tomorrow. Does anyone know if it's ok for me to be moving about so much just yet, I'm not really doing anything other than going to the potty and drinking lots. My love to you all (((HUGS))) |

So glad you are feeling well. It is an awesome feeling to be doing better than you expected. Don't over do yourself, but by all means, do what you feel up to... Follow your PS instructions, but my PS prefers that you move around as much as possible to keep the muscles lose. I folded laundry and cleaned house (slowly and gingerly) on day 2... Keep up the good work.

![]() | Congrats
Hey Lady! Congrats and glad to hear that all went well and I hope they continue to go well. Yeah I had the potty every hour syndrome as well, my DH thought I was moving too much, but I told him there wasn't much I could do about that.

Congrats Lorna, welcome to the other side. I think you're fine moving around the way you are. I did the same thing and had a pretty easy recovery. Of course, take it easy, but I believe the more you allow yourself to move around the better you feel. I went to the bathroom every hour also, I was determined to get that stuff flushed out of my system. Sounds like you're doing great and yeah to your DH for being so wonderful. Continued happy healing. |

![]() | Thank you to everyone for your lovely replies ![]() Yea, the whole going to the potty every hour is nuts. But I'm becoming an expert in taking care for business in there without hurting myself rofl. Today is still going really well I am still taking 1 percosat (sp) every 3 hours and they are really taking care of any pain. I haven't felt the need to take 2 at the same time yet, so that is really good. I've been taking the Arnicia too and think it is helping me a lot.I think my biggest peev is the itching... I'm scratching like a flea infested dog Evey part of my body is itchy, so I'm staying busy with my scratcher lol.I still have a sore throat, but it's getting better all the time. I've been drinking Ensure every so often and I think the creamy fluid is good for my throat. I'm not feeling much of anything in my boobs yet, the right is higher from what I can tell by feeling them. But I think I had a taste of morning boob when I woke up today, they were very stiff and tight, it took me a few minutes o get out of my chair and straighten myself up. I've been concentrating really hard to keep my back straight and shoulders back when I'm up, I really don't want to start hunching over.. so far so good I really could not be any happier and content than I am right now.. it's a truly amazing experience Of course the drugs are keeping me mellow and like my sister said, stoned rofl

Hi Lorna aka boobie sister! I was feeling good yesterday, It was the pain medication and the anesthetic altought it made me feel a little dizzy, I was thinking of you too I am just so happy we got it done! I also feel more pain on my left side towards my armpit, I had transax so I am sure it is the insicion, today I the feel swollen alot of tightness and iching from the tape, I am taped and bandaged all around except for the breasts that have gauze and a little tape to cover- they did not want me to look too explicit LOL!!! Email me when you can on your progress, I think each day will get better.Dani Quote:
