I'm back

Left the house around 5:30 am with BF. They took me back right away, had me change into the oh so sexy gown and cap and had me take a pregnancy test. They put me up a bed with lots of warm blankies and started my IV after a numbing shot. It didn't even hurt! The RN was super nice. I got saline and then some antibiotics, pain meds, and also had to take an anti nausea pill and an antibiotic in pill form. I got my vitals taken, which had to be done twice because I was so nervous my heart rate was way up there haha. The doctor came in, redicussed size, draw the marks on my chest and left. The anathesiaoloist (sp?) came in, asked if I wanted anti nausea meds in my drip and I of course said yes!

They then wheeled me off to the OR, hooked me up to their machines and strapped my arms down. I had an oxygen mask put on and was told to take a few deep breaths, then the medicine went in and I felt all tingly, and that's the last thing I remember.

I awoke in recovery about 10 minutes after surgery and felt great. Felt alittle sore but no real pain. I was talking, drinking juice and crackers, and the nurse didn't know how I was doing so well haha. The surgery ended at 8 am and I was out the door by 8 :30 after all the meds were explained to my BF and I. We rode home and stopped at the pharmacy to fill the meds and went home. Had to make sure my puppy was penned off from the bedroom as she likes to jump all over you lol. Not good with new boobies. I had a small snack, took a pain pill, and nodded off to sleep again. I woke up, took my Valium, and did the same thing until it was time to take the pain med again. Then I took another two hour nap. I slept on my back with pillows behind me so I was somewhat elevated, but when I woke up I was more sore than normal but it might have been due to missing my pain med by 30 minutes. Before that I was sleeping all the way right up with my head on my shoulder. As of now I just have minor soreness, no tightness or anything. My BF is such a nazi nurse! Haha he won't let me walk around, gets everything for me, and is so bossy! But I guess it's for my own good.

As far as the implants he went with 540 cc's, HP, areola incision. As of now I'm wrapped up in a simple ace bandage which I can take off and not replace tomorrow. I can see major cleavage and they arn't sqaure/high up at all. I can't wait to take it off tomorrow and see. I think that about sums it up, if not, blame the pain meds!

Wow Congrats on your new boobies! Sounds all went well!! Now do not over do it even if you feel great....it will catch you up....so relax and rest!

I'm so happy that you had a great surgery and are doing so well. Keep it up and you'll be feeling great in no time. I know what you mean about the Nazi Nurse attitude, my DH is the exact same.. while I appreciate everything he does he still manages to bug me at times lol.

Keep us updated when you can, I love following everyones story.

Glad everything went so well for you. It is an awesome thing! Like they have already said, just don't over do it. I went shopping for new clothes 5 days after surgery - then I paid for it!! It takes your body time to heal even if you don't hurt.

Sound like things went on in a perfect fashion! Congrats, and that boyfriend of yours sounds fabulous, better hold on tight! Glad he is taking such good care of you! I think you have a good point about pain, I've had 2 csections and the pain really did not bother me so I'm hoping this will be a breeze. We shall see. Keep us posted as you recover! Congrats on the new additions my DH was the same way mine even helped me pee LOL pulled up my pants and all even though I told him that I had advice from my " boobie site" on how to pull them up LOL but enjoy it and keep us updated.

If you have had c-sections I'm guessing you'll be fine, but I have no idea how painful a c section is.

Congrats! And thank you for a rundown of what to expect right before.....it's nice to know the steps....I had two c-sections but never had general anesthesia so I was a little worried as to what to expect.
