hey ladies

ok so let me tell you a bit about my day today

my surgery was at about 9:30 am. I got to the hospital and waited and waited and then i finally got called in. The anesthesiologist tlaked to me, then Dr. Rice made the markings on my boobies in a private room and took some pics.

he had to lower the crease of my left one cause it sat higher than my right so he evened them out. yippeeee.

ok so i signed the papers that said he could decide between 375 and 400 (of the style 20).

i got into the OR and got my IV started which didnt hurt cause i used the emla cream to numb my hand. Then they talked to me and gave me an oxygen mask and i dont remember a thing after that.

woke up , was in a lot of pain and i kept getting more morphine when they asked me if i wanted more. MY mom was allowed in the post surgery thing cause shes a nurse there. basically i was in a lot of pain right after , but the morphine helped.

then they moved me to recover. my back hurt the most. more than my boobs i hate those hospital beds. I took 2 T3's there and then i got to go home.

my mom went to get the car and i had to pee...so i went and when i got out of the bathroom i got back into my wheelchair and all of a sudden evetything went blurry...dizzy and i could hear muffled tlaking and i reached out to some random and said i need water i need water and she got my nurse ...i almost fainted it was so random and weird.

then i went home and now im here
sorry this is so incoherent and rambling i guess im still a bit...groggy

i feel ok now...not painful but uncomfortable. I can do a lot of things on my own like go to the bathroom, open pill bottles and open the fridge and stuff. I am sure day 2 will be more challenging

Thanks for sharing your story veronika. That must have been alittle scarey almost fainting like that, glad your doing ok now. Your so lucky to have your mom there to help you! Your in good hands and a nurse too, thats great! Take care, rest, and congratulations!

Congrats! You will be sore for a few day's.. I think my 3rd-4th day were my worst. But I was able to shower the next day after my BA not on my own of course. Rest up and get lot's of fluids, keep us updated with how everything goes.

Sorry to hear you had a sketchy time coming out of surgery

yay, thats so exciting we are like boobie sisters haha :P my bf always makes fun of me when i say boobie sister or boobie twin! but we are

i had definate morning boob this morning but i take 2 T3's every 4 hours no matter what, i like to stop the pain before it gets bad. I set my cell phone with 5 diff alarms for all of my antibiotics and T3's so its always going off randomly so i dont forget my pills. Genius! happy healing
