I don't know what it means but I am numb on random spots on both boobs,...especially under my boobs. I can't even tell when my fiance is touching them lol

My right has numbness on the under part too...also my nipple on that side has sensation but I find "painful" feeling and at this point am unable to detect temperature...PS said it's a "good sign" that I have some sort of feeling and that it should get better...we will see!

Both sides of my boobs are numb while my nipples are hypersensitive! I think it will go away over time plus I want to say that the streching of the skin might be adding to the numbness, that's my guess.

Don't panic it is totally normal. It's caused by the trauma to the breast and the nerves being cut.My breasts were numb for ages and I still have numbness now after 5 mths. Some people take years to get all the feeling back, some comes back much quicker and occasionally you will have numb spots permenantly...it's the price you sometimes have to pay I guess. But lack of feeling is totally normal.

thanks ladies... it's not really bothering me unless i touch it. i try not to bother it though. i just wanted to make sure that it is normal. i did some research and found out that it is normal and yes the feeling sometimes doesn't come back. i'm ok with that as long as it doesn't spread! yikes!!! as of right now it's just one spot on the side of my left boob and to think about it i remember that same spot there was a lot of pain there after my surgery and a stinging feeling also. i guess it is the nerves. oh well it was worth it, just happy its not my nipples.

whew! I'm glad to know it's normal, I was starting to get worried since I've noticed the left side of my boob is numb also.. like you I hope it does not spread & happy it's not my nipples.
