sore ribs?

Hi girls,
So I am 2 weeks post-op today and just noticed that on both sides my upper ribs are sore- it feels like I got punched lol (only when I push on them though).

I think I'm a little swollen there as well,as I'm measuring almost 2" larger. Has anyone else had this?

Otherwise I have no swelling, bruising, pain, etc...not too worried, but i hadn't seen anything on here so thought I'd check! Maybe its just the weight of the implants?

I also had sore ribs (felt like I got kicked in the ribs) but mine only lasted a few days..
I'm sure it will pass soon!

I am 3 weeks post op and have recently started to experience the same thing. I asked my doc about it and he said that it's normal. My boobies look to tiny to be making my ribs hurt

Mine were sore, especially the left side. It is starting to get better now that I am over a month out. Initially with both sides being sore I figured it was from the surgery and implants. At my 3 1/2 week post op appt, I asked my PS about the left side still feeling bruised. He said it was probably from his elbow, because that is where he rested it during my surgery. It gave my DH and I a laugh. At least I know it is normal.

I feel this also but I am only 8 days out. I also feel the exact way when I wear my band which is helping them drop so I keep telling myself its from dropping and THATS exactly what I want! =)
Hope you guys can ease your discomfort. I have found wearing my band, since that is when I feel that sensation the most, right after my motrin has taken affect-- lessens the pain feeling. so its not too bad.

I'm three days out and my ribs are killing me...especially one side. And it sounds like bubbles, maybe water or air under my skin when I push down. I am wondering if its just fluid from bloating, air from the surgery?? No visible bruising, though the sound and feeling is weird. It starts about an inch from my incision and downward? Just bloating?
