Third post-op visit

I had my third postop visit this morning (20 days) and everything is GREAT. He says I am wear I should be and I can go to wearing the strap "intermittently" HALLELUJAH!!! And I can start wearing a sports bra and resume exercise, including running ... thank goodness because the love handles are returning!!!

My next visit is in 3 weeks - at that time I can start wearing whatever bras I want. Can't wait, but I have to say it has been *nice* going without

My only question is, and I've emailed his PA for clarification, he said that I might lose some volume as they continue to settle. I thought the opposite was true? I have saline unders.... Any help with this? I bought some VS Ipex bras yesterday in D-cup which fit perfectly. Now I'm wondering if I should return them? I am measuring between D (VS) and DD (nordstrom). I went ahead and bought the bras on clearance to have them...

I've heard some ladies say that they actually got smaller but I hope I'm not wrong when it seems to be that most stayed the same or needed a bigger bra!
when the implants settle, the bottom portion of your breast fills out and becomes fuller, thus changing the proportion of your whole breast. I'm not sure what your PS could have meant by losing volume. Hmmmm.

i am happy for you but uncontrollably jealous that you can resume your exercise....

why is it that i have saline unders and am not allowed for another couple weeks? ANYWAY, have fun, congrats, you are looking GREAT!!!!!

So glad to hear you are doing well.
It really depends on the person wether they gain size or not.
I think it's too early for you to be buying expensive bras.
I bought a few inexpensive bras at 2 month post-op and at 4 months I was spilling out of them,
I was just glad I didn't pay a lot of money for them.
Usually with unders you are more likely to gain size as you drop ad fluff.

Well, I am experiencing the D&F...I have unders and of course we cant wait to shop and buy pretty things and my girls want to fluff, and fluff and fluff, so this means I get to go to Walmart/Target.
My girls did drop so I look natural but are fluffing and am yet to know what size I will end up at right now 34d/dd

I am jealous of the exercise, too. Glad your appointment went well, though!!

I am cleared to wear underwires at 6 weeks, too. I don't know if I will like being "held in" like that... if that makes any sense, LOL!! I have been wearing sports bras, cami's and now bralettes.

I am uncontrollably jealous you all seem to be allowed to wear whatever bras you want....I am still in non wire at 4 1/2 months with another 6 weeks to go.....bored bored bored lol x x
