incision scar wont go away!

So I got my surgery about 8 months ago and while the incision scar on my right breast is healing great the one on my left isnt. I have never put anything on my scars to heal them, and last time I went in for a visit he mentioned something about a shot for my scar. Any suggestions as to what I can put on it? Or maybe what shot my surgeon was talking about?

You could try silicon sheeting (I have progression pics in my 6 months album) It can be used on new and old scars, but it takes some time, I used it for about 7 months, though people can see results much faster. My scars are pretty faded now at almost a year. As for the shot, sorry can't help with that...I wonder if it could be a cortisone shot?

I am almost 7 months out and my left one's scars are still quite noticeable compared to the right and I have been using Kelo-cote which is a silicone ointment, and bio oil. I had a lollipop lift and it is mainly the vertical scar that is noticeable. I saw my PS this past Friday and he said it takes 2 years for a scar to heal. I am hoping it begins to fade more or I am going to have to switch to something else, maybe the silicone sheets. Good luck!
