Stomach sleeping!

I am almost 2 weeks post-op (tomorrow is 2 weeks) and I have had no problems what so ever, so I feel bad complaining here! But I am wondering, when did those of you who slept on your stomachs go back to it! I sleep really good on my sides or back, until about 3:0am and then it is like I can't find a good postion! I have no pain in the gals, I think it is more that I am afraid to sleep on them! If you could let me know when you think you slept on them, would help me get over it I think!?
Thanks!
Tracy

I think it was about week 3 or 4 that I started sleeping on my stomach. It wasn't intentional, I would just wake up that way. Don't worry, you will be able to sleep on your stomach again, I do every night.

Im 7 weeks post op and have occasionally woken up on my stomach from about 4 weeks. It hurt a lot at first but now is just uncomfortable for a while and does occasionally wake me up.

Stomach sleeping

I also I sleep on my stomach when I am cold and that season is fast approaching. I slept so funny the first couple weeks that I twisted my somehow and had to go for a massage(front only). But, I am 7 weeks out and am still leary about sleeping on my stomach. I use a small travel pillow and place it right below the new girls and it props them up so they won't be squished. Otherwise, I sleep on my sides.

Good Luck !!

Stomach Sleeping

I, too, was a 100% stomach sleeper, and I wasn't sure if I'd be able to handle sleeping on my side or back. I slept with pillows under my head and on each side of me the first week, so I could lie on my side and cuddle a pillow as well as get support under my boobs from the cushion. I'm a little more than two weeks post-op, and last night I decided to give the stomach thing a try. It wasn't comfortable, so I put a pillow under my breasts and on my rib cage to soften the impact, and I did okay for about 15 minutes, but then I turned over to my side again. I saw my PS today, so I asked her if it is okay to sleep on my stomach. She doesn't recommend it for a few more weeks. I read in this forum that some girls lie on their stomachs on the floor and have their kids push on them to flatten the implants to reduce the risk of CC, but I don't think I'm ready to try that.

Let me know how you're doing. Good luck with the situation!

I was told by my PS not to ever sleep on my stomach again. But of course, sometimes I have no control over what position I end up in when Im ASLEEP! Well last week I woke up on my stomach for the first time. Man it felt good to be all stretched out in bed. But I woke up because it was putting pressure on the implants in my pockets and making them hurt. I rolled over after getting a good stretch. Since then I have woken up two more times in a modified stomach position..like when I used to be pregnant and would prop up on one knee with the other one straight. its so nice not to be having pain when I move around now.

He told you never to sleep on your stomach again, for the rest of your life??
That sounds sooooo weird, what was his reason?

Denese will become famous soon enough
I don't remember the exact week, but I am guessing around week 6. I know I had to gradually work myself into it. It wasn't like all of a sudden one night I could. But, I sleep on my stomach all the time now with no problems at all.

I was really afraid at first too. I would prop my girls up with pillows when I first started tummy sleeping. I cant remember when I actually felt comfortable about it but I sleep on my tummy now, whenever I feel the need and have had no problems.

Wow. No tummy sleeping ever? That seems kind of odd since like you said, sometimes you cant help it. My PS told me to sleep in whatever position was comfortable.

I also started sleeping on my stomach about about 1 month with the help of a pillow. Now I sleep that way every night. I ask PS yesterday specifically if this could cause any problems. He said no. That the actually recommend it for some people. He said any position is fine as long as its comfortable.

I don't think I could stand never being able to sleep on my stomach again. That would be the same as taking my coffee away. lol

Hmmm... day 5 or 6? But I guess when I go to sleep, I take it seriously - nothing's going to get me up short of dumping me off the bed!

Yeah, I've managed to fall asleep standing up in the shower too - *guess I'm just weird!*

ain't happening for me anytime soon. I do remember

within three weeks.

Good Luck!

well , i put it to the test properly the other night.... and i didnt like it one bit !
now, before i start, i got tiddy implants, so its not even the fact ive got a pair of melons sitting on my chest....but i tried, and the only way i can explain it is....you know blow up plastic cushions? like when you pump them up so there's no space left in them? well i felt like id had one of those cushions strapped to me, and it was weird, so im going back to back sleeping, im used to it now
