hi guys im new to this site
anyway im 2 weeks post op and im convinced iv got capsular contracture in my left boob :/ but how do u know? my right boob feels quite normal now but the left feels tight inside like i can actually feel the implant on the inside. im gettin really worried , any ideas , is it too earlt to be worrying?? thx

Yes, too early to worry! Your breast probably is still tight--but just because it will be for awhile. They may heal at different rates. Capsular contracture is supposed to be noticeable at about 3 months usually I believe? That's when they say you stand the most chance of developing it. Make sure you're massaging everyday to help prevent any capsular contracture, and don't go back to lifting anything heavy or over working yourself right now. I'm convinced that's what caused the contracture that I had! I went right back to work bartending after a week or so....heavy lifting etc. You're supposed to take it easy for awhile, and massage.

i have to go bak to work in another 2 weeks and i will be doing very heavy lifting, so that 4 weeks off in total, i hope thats enough, but i couldnt imagine going back before as im still sooo uncomfortable :\ i just cant wait for this to be over and finally feel normal again x

Current/Post Revision implants are: submuscular, smooth, round, high profile, silicone gel implants 260cc on both sides-hopefully closer to a C cup. Also used Strattice--"internal bra" for revision. Previous implants: submuscular, smooth, round, moderate profile, salilne implants. 220 cc on both sides-about a B cup. Right side had scar tissue and was deflated. Left side has some bottoming out (hung lower).
