Too much stretching....I urge you to lotion up...not with cheap stuff, aka lotions with alcohol in them. Dry red itchy stretch skins....sometimes is the before to stretch marks, not always, so don't fret.

I have some on the top of my boobs right now, I put strVectin on during day...and at night (currently doing this as we speak) I put Vaseline on thick layer then cling wrap over my boob and then put my sports bra back on. Cling wrap is so it absorbs into your skin all night instead of your clothes. You need to absorb as much moisture as possible. Also drink lots of water. And don't over do it on the lotions, more you over do it the more it dries out. weird but true.

Also baby oil can be used, or bio oil

Goodluck

Sorry also during the day throw some hydrocortisone cream on it for the itch. Should help, some girls also mention if you still have some arnica cream left that cools the whole area some have found it helps for itchy boobs

My right boobs got really itchy just before it dropped. It was the skin stretching, but I didn't get stretchmarks. My left boob dropped much more slowly and I never had the crazy itching on that side.

Itchy skin from the implants being put in and the skin being stretched out!

You can do an epsom salt wrap or plain salt. Make sure to cover your incisions with tape if they are not already. Get the skin moist and sprinkle salt on the itchy skin. Then get a hot washcloth for each boob and pour more salt on it. Hold the washcloth and salt to your boobs or use an old sport bra to hold the washcloths on. Leave on for 15 mins then rinse in hot water. You can exfoliate the area a bit with the salt as well. Easy to do in shower or bathtub with water lower than ur incision line. After you get out of shower rub vaseline on the itchy skin.

The salt wrap will help with the itching and help exfoliate the new skin underneath.

Believe me! It kept the itch at bay for me all day! I did it morning and night.

My dermatologist said to not scratch it! Because it gives you stretch marks

You can keep some good lotion/oil in the fridge to keep it cold and use it when the itching is driving you crazy.. Not only the lotion will prevent you from getting you stretch marks and give more resistance for the skin, but the coldness will be a big relief for the itching

As you girls suggested I put some lotions on and the itch went away the second morning! I hope it doesn't come back, but if it does I know how to deal with it now. I really don't know how to get through my recovery without all your help! Love,

The salt treatment worked the best for me. You can also get some Vitamin E oil and put it on there after you get out of the shower. Or try some raw organic shea butter. Or you can do a light exfoliating scrub with sugar or salt mixed with a bit of honey, rinse off then put some thick cream or lotion on top.
