numbness on sides of breast?? help

I'm almost 2 weeks post op..is it normal for there to be numbness? Its on the sides of my breast and also near insicions which I had crease insicions..the rest of my breast are not numb just both side..

I think it takes awhile for the nerves to regenerate. I have similar numbness. When I had my hysterectomy, it was numb in the scar area for a year!

Its completely normal to have numbness and it will gradually subside as your breasts heal from the surgery. I still have some numbness and I am 5 months post op. You will notice the numbness going away and the feeling returning, so try not to worry. Just enjoy those new boobies and give them the time they need to heal and settle in and for everything to get back to normal.

I am two weeks post op and my whole boob is pretty much numb. The bottom is completely numb, the sides A LITTLE bit of feeling and the top is regaining very slowly. Today at my appt I asked if it was normal for all of it be so numb and my ps said yes and that I will probably stop noticing the numbness before it gets better. He said one day I will touch it and be like oh wow I can feel my boob again. haha

I had numbness for aprox 2-3 wks too, my PS told me that sensation will return and it finally has
